Visiting care and home care in Stafford

Stafford was founded about 700AD and was quickly an important centre for grain tribute, before it was commandeered in 913 by Æthelflæd, a powerful Anglo-Saxon woman who was the daughter of Alfred the Great. She constructed a fortification where Stafford Ware pottery began to be produced in the area. One of her military campaign bases, archaeological digs in the area have produced Stafford Ware, food production areas, weaponry, and coins.

We love history at Helping Hands, considering our own is now well into its fourth decade, and while not as long as Stafford’s, we have delivered exceptional care for our customers continuously since 1989. Our visiting and live-in care is designed to our customers’ needs and fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales, meaning you and your loved ones can be completely reassured.

High quality home care in Stafford

Our high-quality care is designed totally to your specifications, meaning you can remain living in the place you love for as long as you’d like to. We’re one of the UK’s foremost providers of quality care at home, and its our mission to keep you as independent as possible for as long as we can. We understand care because we’ve been delivering it in our customers’ homes since we began, we don’t have care homes and we don’t operate franchises. This means we can come to you as often as you need us to carry out household tasks and personal support that’ll enhance your life every day.

    24/7 live in care support

Live-in care is care plus; you get someone living in your home with you which means you are never alone and have constant companionship. Live-in care means you don’t have to worry about loneliness, you’ll have someone living in your home who will work tirelessly to ensure you have just the right amount of company and support. You shouldn’t worry that your home won’t feel like your own though – your carer is the height of discretion and will make sure that when you want to have time on your own or with family and friends they’ll just carry on with other household tasks instead.

Why Helping Hands is better than a care agency in Stafford

Care agencies are different to private home care companies, and we’re proud to be the latter. You may think it doesn’t make a difference, but a care agency will take a lesser involvement in your care and support, just matching you with a carer and charging you a fee to do so. They’ll then leave you to manage all other aspects of your carer’s employment, including pay and holidays. In contrast, Helping Hands will do all of that for you as we employ our carers ourselves and will manage every aspect of your care experience for you.

Qualified carers providing a variety of care services in Stafford

Our carers are compassionate and kind people, but that doesn’t happen by accident. We employ people who share our passion for delivering the highest quality care and we equip them with all of the skills they’ll need to fully support you at home. We build on their existing experience and devise them a bespoke package of development, courtesy of our in-house training academy, so you and your loved ones can be fully confident in the knowledge our carers possess.
