Wallingford respite support from Helping Hands

If you are a caregiver and need to plan a holiday or are preparing for surgery, our respite care services can offer the flexibility you need. At Helping Hands, we provide various care services, including respite care, short term care designed to adapt to your needs. Whether you need care for a week, a month, or longer, we can step in and provide the support you need, giving you the peace of mind to take care of yourself, knowing your loved one is in good hands.

Our compassionate carers can assist you with folding the laundry, washing the dishes, taking the bins out, preparing meals, accompanying your loved one to appointments and much more. So, they can continue to maintain your independence and routine, as we will work around your loved one.

We are also regulated and monitored by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales, which means our services are inspected to ensure we provide high-quality home care in Wallingford, no matter what condition individuals are living with.

When to choose respite care

If you are recovering from an illness, operation, or accident and could benefit from extra support, respite care can be a viable choice. Or perhaps you care for your loved one and are looking to go away for a week. In that case, we can step in. Whatever the reason, we will promise to support you in any way you need.

Respite care services tailored to you

All our respite care services are fully tailored to assist you in your everyday life. We provide care from as little as 30 minutes a week with visiting care. Or you can receive round-the-clock support with live-in care, where one of our carers stays with you at home. We will ensure we take time to get to know you and fulfil your requirements because we understand your needs are unique and important.
