What does our assisted living support include?
Since 1989, we’ve been committed to providing compassionate home care that is tailored to each of our customer’s individual needs. Over the years, we’ve supported tens of thousands of people in maintaining as normal and fulfilling a life as possible through our person-centred support. One of our main offerings from our wonderful home care in Watford team is assisted living, which is designed to assist you practically with anything you might be struggling with around the home. Assisted living can include anything from help with vacuuming and laundry to preparing your favourite meals and taking your dog for a walk. Whatever you need, our carers will almost always be able to help with. And, for total reassurance, our assisted living service is fully monitored and regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), guaranteeing that you’ll always receive care of the highest standard.

Qualified carers providing assisted living in Watford
We’ll always sing the praises of our wonderful carers, because they truly are brilliant people who are exceptional at what they do. All of our carers have been recruited specifically for their kind and compassionate personalities and their dedication to their roles, and have undergone extensive background checks before joining the Watford team. They’ve also received our industry-leading training, which equips them to provide a wide range of assisted living services to people with varying needs. This training is provided when a carer first joins the team, and is regularly reinforced with refresher courses designed to keep their knowledge and skillset up to date.

When to consider assisted living
Assisted living provides flexible care options for individuals who need extra help at home. This care may involve regular visits from a carer to assist with household tasks or more complex care for conditions like cancer or dementia. Our assisted living services aim to empower individuals to live comfortably and securely in their own homes, maintaining their independence while receiving tailored care that suits their lifestyle and needs. Whatever your circumstance, we’ll make sure you’re never left feeling isolated or unsupported.

How much does assisted living cost?
The cost of assisted living from Helping Hands will vary depending on your level of need. Our visiting care packages start from £31.00 per hour, whilst live-in care in Watford prices start at £1,675 per week for one person and £1,675 per week for a couple. Each care visit also incurs a £4.25 fee to cover your carer’s costs.
We know how important it is to you that your care is straightforward to arrange, sustainably affordable, and doesn’t come with any unwanted extras or additional costs. That’s why we’re completely transparent about the upfront costs involved in our industry-leading home care, and will never ever try to push you to sign up for any extra hours or services that you don’t want or need. Your local care manager in Watford will always be on hand to help you make any changes you wish to make to your support at a moment’s notice.
