Branch Care Manager
Hi I'm Amal, the Branch Manager at Helping Hands Hertford. I joined Helping Hands in October 16th 2023. My current responsibilities are to oversee and manage both office and care staff to make sure we are always delivering a safe and high standard of care to our customers. I feel honoured to be part of this branch and work alongside passionate & dynamic team of both office and care staff to support people in our local community whatever their needs may be. My inspiration to join social care is wanting to make a difference to people’s lives and to empower them to reach their full potentials. In my spare time, I like to read, cook and spend time with my family. I have worked in the care industry for twenty-five years. My experiences have helped me to understand and ensure that the service provided to our customers is always safe, effective, responsive, well-led and caring.

Home care in Berkhamsted
If you have had a fall or live with a condition limiting you from everyday tasks, you may wish to consider home care from our Berkhamsted care team. Or perhaps you could benefit from having someone running errands for you, taking you to medical appointments or providing you with a bit of companionship; then home care is what you need.
We offer home care on a visiting and live-in basis. So, you can choose to have a carer visit you during the week for a few hours at a time or stay with you for 24 hours a day. Depending on what condition you are living with or your needs, we will be sure to find a package that suits you.
24/7 live in care support
With live in care, our carers aren’t limited to what they can and cannot do; they will do whatever it takes to provide you with the care you need. That’s why your care package will be fully personalised and bespoke to your requirements.
So, whether you wish to have your clothes ironed and folded once a week, breakfast prepared every morning, or someone to come by in the evening to help make dinner and keep you company, we will make it happen.
Why Helping Hands is better than a care agency in Berkhamsted
Before receiving the seal of approval, our carers undergo a strict application process, which includes a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. They also complete a comprehensive training programme and are equipped with the right skills to support our customers. They continue to build on their skills via refresher courses.
Our carers are genuinely the most friendly, kind and caring individuals you will meet. They are the reason why so many of our customers are able to live an independent life at home. Plus, they make the best companions.
