High-quality care in Berkshire from Helping Hands

At Helping Hands, we thrive on high-quality care. After all, we want to ensure all our customers can remain in the comfort of their homes without compromising their independence and routine.

We couldn’t do this without the hard work of our compassionate carers, who always put our customers’ needs first. Our carers provide exceptional home care in Berkshire, including supported living for individuals living with a mental or physical disability. Whether you or a loved one needs support with household duties, attending medical appointments, preparing meals or companionship, you can count on our Berkshire care team to be there whenever you need.

We are also regulated and monitored by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales, so we always work hard to provide our customers with a well-led, responsive and empathetic care service.

When to choose supported living

Supported living is ideal for those who are living with a complex condition or a disability. We understand it isn’t always easy to ask for help, but having an extra pair of hands around the house can make a huge difference. Plus, having a companion to talk about your day or have a cuppa with is always nice. After all, your emotional well-being is our priority, too.

Our home care in Berkshire team can support you with your daily routine as much as you like. From accompanying you to medical appointments and exploring the community to helping with folding the laundry and washing the dishes, we will work hard to meet your requirements.

Expert care services tailored to your needs

When you partner with us, we ensure that your or your loved one’s care package is personalised and tailored to your requirements. We will take into account lifestyle choices, medical history, interests and hobbies. So, whether you enjoy swimming, dancing, watching classic films or baking, we will continue to invest time in things you like.

All our care packages are provided on a visiting and live-in basis. This means you can choose to have support from as little as 30 minutes a week with visiting care to 24 hours a day with live-in care. Our carers will come to you when you need them.

Qualified carers providing supported living in Berkshire

All our carers are fully trained to provide outstanding care. We make sure they undergo a comprehensive training programme and are equipped with the skills to deliver support to those who need it most. They continue to build on their skills by completing refresher courses.

For added reassurance, our carers undergo a DBS check to ensure we employ the right people to look after you. We understand that having someone come into your home can be daunting, which is why we take these measures.
