Who is community care for?

Community care is for anyone who needs additional support, whether on a lower or more complex level. This could begin with occasional visiting care once a week where a carer pops in for a cup of tea and a chat or takes you to the local shops. Or, if you need someone to come to your home several times a day or overnight then we can also support you, or if full-time, live in care in Birmingham is necessary, we will be there. Because we’ve been supporting our customers for over 30 years, we can support with every type of condition, and as dementia specialists, we are particularly well placed to care for our customers living with all types of dementia.

Care in the Birmingham community from Helping Hands

We offer care on both a visiting and live-in basis, with visits starting from just 30 minutes per week, so if you’d like us to walk the dog with you, go for coffee, cake and a catch-up or accompany you to an appointment, we can do so. Alternatively, you may need us for more personal tasks such as administering your medication, carrying out your personal care, supporting your mobility and so much more.

Our carers are dedicated to ensuring you live your best life at home, and we select them very carefully to make sure that only people who share our passion for delivering compassionate homecare get to join us. Because we’ve been delivering the highest quality homecare for over 30 years we really are considered one of the UK’s foremost providers, and we have grown to cover the whole of England and Wales. Furthermore, because we’re fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales, you and your loved ones can be confident that we’ll always deliver the high standards of care we promise to.
