Since Helping Hands was founded in 1989, we have seen enormous growth, which has enabled us to care for more and more customers. Over 40,000 people have now trusted us to support them with all aspects of their care needs and when you consider we are fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales, it’s no surprise. Why not talk to us today about the home care we could be giving to you or your family members?
We can support you in and around Brandon, Bretford, Wolston, King’s Newnham, Church Lawford, Binley Woods and the surrounding areas.
Brandon not only has a collection of historic cottages and the remains of the 12th century Brandon Castle, but also has extensive nature reserves and woodland nearby, including Brandon Marsh, home to a wide variety of wildlife, especially pondlife, and community woodland Brandon Wood.
Helping Hands are keen to explore areas that can get us better involved with our communities, and that’s why we decided to establish ourselves in Brandon. We also have an extensive history going back 30 years which means that we are well-placed to support people in the local area living with a variety of conditions that our visiting and live-in services can support with.
“I’m excited to be overseeing the team in Coventry as well as bringing one-to-one support to people in the local community. I know the Coventry area well having attended school there and even though I moved away for a few years, I never lost touch of what was going on in the city. I came into the care industry back in 2008 and believe that with Helping Hands, I have the chance to make a positive impact to people’s lives.”
For over 30 years, we've been supporting people with care, nurse-supported care and companionship across England and Wales. As industry-leaders in home care, we know what it takes to provide the right level of care so that you can retain your independence in the comfort of your beloved home.

Domiciliary care, better known as care at home, means that you get all the benefits of care at your fingertips but with the added bonus that you get to remain in your beloved home too. Receiving person-centred care in your own home from Helping Hands is invaluable; you get to live your life to your own routine, choosing your mealtimes, when you get up and go to bed, or if you get up at all that day! Your dedicated carers will ensure that you get to live your very best life that focuses entirely on your wellbeing, even if you have highly complex care needs.
Our 30 years of dementia care experience means we are ideally placed to support you or your loved ones, whether you’re near the start of your dementia journey or you’re further along. While receiving a diagnosis can rock your world to its core, having care at home from a dementia specialist company can make a very real difference to your quality of life. Staying at home for your care can help to reduce confusion and anxiety, due to being in familiar surroundings, close to loved ones and precious memories.
Respite care from Helping hands can prevent you having to go into residential care, even temporarily. Whether your family members are going on holiday, your regular carer needs a break or you just want to try care at home for a while, we can support you with every aspect of your needs, including medication, mobility, meal planning, housework and personal care. Even if you needed care in an emergency, we could have support in your home within 24 hours.
As we get older our bodies can sometimes let us down, however if we’re lucky we also get to experience the blessings of being more senior, such as having a loving family around us and the benefit of experience and wisdom. Helping Hands will be happy to assist you with any aspect of your daily life that is becoming more difficult, such as personal care, meal preparation and housework, so if you’d like to relieve pressure from family members or get a bit of extra help, why not ask us about elderly care at home?
Our carers really are the best in the industry in our opinion, because when we recruit our carers we only select people who share our ethos for delivering the highest standards of person-centred care to our customers. Our people are compassionate and empathetic and go above and beyond to support our customers to live the best life possible within their own homes. We always train our carers thoroughly when they join us and ensure they have opportunities to develop their skills throughout their carer, as well as screening them through the Disclosure and Barring Service for your safety. We’re accredited by the Dementia Action Alliance, amongst many others and we’re fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales, so you really can be confident in our ability to support you or your loved ones.
