Home care in Brandon
Visiting care and home care in Brandon
Brandon not only has a collection of historic cottages and the remains of the 12th century Brandon Castle, but also has extensive nature reserves and woodland nearby, including Brandon Marsh, home to a wide variety of wildlife, especially pondlife, and community woodland Brandon Wood.
Helping Hands are keen to explore areas that can get us better involved with our communities, and that’s why we decided to establish ourselves in Brandon. We also have an extensive history going back 30 years which means that we are well-placed to support people in the local area living with a variety of conditions that our visiting and live-in services can support with.

Meet the Brandon care team
Branch Care Manager
Hello, I am Helen the Branch Manager of the Bury St Edmunds Branch. It is my responsibility to oversee and set up care packages for customers in the local area also to ensure the care is the very best. This ensures our customers remain safe and independent in their own homes. It is important to me and my team that we provide person centred care, meaning each care package is tailored to the wants and needs of each individual customer. I have lived in Bury St Edmunds since 2018 and have a good knowledge of the area and it's surroundings. My passion for care work has come from when I was a child, seeing the care my grandparents recieved and how it improved their lives and enabled them to stay at home until they passed away. This gave me a drive to want to provide care to others to enable them to live comfortably with their loved ones in their own homes for as long as possible.
