Costs of care from Helping Hands Christchurch

When it comes to care at home, we understand you’d like a service that provides you with exceptional, compassionate care and better value for your money. That’s why at Helping Hands, we employ the best carers to take care of your needs. Whether you need a cup of tea at 2pm or someone to help you walk the dog, our dedicated home care in Christchurch team will be on hand to support you. After all, we have been providing care at home since 1989, so you can fully trust us.

All our care plans are provided on a visiting or live-in care in Christchurch basis. So, whether you need care from as little as 30 minutes a week or longer, we will ensure we’ll find a care package that meets your requirements.

Visiting care costs

If you need care for a few hours a week, then visiting care may be a viable option for you. You decide when our carers can visit and we will take care of the rest. Our prices start from £22.29 per with a call-out fee of £4.50, which covers travel costs. Prices will vary due to your location and requirements. Overnight care and support during the weekends and bank holidays are also available.

Live-in care costs

For constant care throughout the day and night, we can provide you with a live-in carer that can support you, whenever you need them. Costs for live-in care start from £1,460 per week for a single person and £1,700 per week for a couple.

Understanding your home care costs

At Helping Hands, we have been providing private care at home for more than 30 years. This means we directly recruit our carers. Plus, we make sure you are not subjected to any hidden costs, referral fees or unpleasant charges.

We understand how complicated it can get in terms of costs. That’s why we believe in transparency and being upfront about our costs. We like to be straightforward with you from the beginning, in other words, what you see is what you get. If you are still unsure, our Christchurch care team will be able to address any questions you may have.

To help towards the cost of your care, it is worth looking at whether there are any funding options available to you. It is best to contact your local authority and they can see if you are entitled to any funding via a Financial Assessment.
