After all, we have been providing care at home since 1989, so you can fully trust us.
All our care plans are provided on a visiting or live-in care basis. So, whether you need care from as little as 30 minutes a week or longer, we will ensure we’ll find a care package that meets your requirements.
Visiting care costs
If you need care for a few hours a week, then visiting care may be a viable option for you. You decide when our carers can visit and we will take care of the rest. Our prices start from £22.29 per with a call-out fee of £4.25, which covers travel costs. Prices will vary due to your location and requirements. Overnight care and support during the weekends and bank holidays are also available.
Live-in care costs
For constant care throughout the day and night, we can provide you with a live-in carer that can support you, whenever you need them. Costs for live-in care start from £1,460 per week for a single person and £1,700 per week for a couple.
At Helping Hands, we have been providing private care at home for more than 30 years. This means we directly recruit our carers. Plus, we make sure you are not subjected to any hidden costs, referral fees or unpleasant charges.
We understand how complicated it can get in terms of costs. That’s why we believe in transparency and being upfront about our costs. We like to be straightforward with you from the beginning, in other words, what you see is what you get. If you are still unsure, our Christchurch care team will be able to address any questions you may have.
To help towards the cost of your care, it is worth looking at whether there are any funding options available to you. It is best to contact your local authority and they can see if you are entitled to any funding via a Financial Assessment. If you would like more information, you can visit our FAQs page on costs and funding or talk to a member of our friendly care team.
Before you commit to a care plan, it is important to explore any benefits you may be entitled to. However, it does come down to your personal circumstances and needs. Benefits may include Attendance Allowance, Council Tax Reduction and Pensions Credit. For more information and advice, you can speak to a member of our dedicated care team.
