Did you know that the name Kempston probably comes from an Anglo-Saxon man called ‘Caemb’? ‘Ton’ usually means ‘settlement’ in Old English, so it was Caemb’s Ton or Kempston! It’s made up of small little hamlets which have steadily grown to form the pretty town. Whilst only small, we have big ideas for care in Kempston.
We have been around since 1989 and have over 36 years of experience. So, it’s safe to say we’ve been around the block. We’re regulated by the Care Quality Commission and Care Quality Wales, so don’t fret!

Hi, I am Christien Ingrosso and I'm the Area Care Manager for the South East region.
As an area care manager, it is my role to lead a team of dedicated care experts in and around the London, Essex and South East region to ensure that the service and care we are delivering is to the highest possible standard for all our customers.
I am married and a father of two girls. I enjoy very much spending time with my family and going on walks with my dog, or as some may say he likes to walk me!
I have been fortunate enough to meet some fantastic employees throughout my time at Helping Hands. Each day I witness first-hand the determination and drive that each and all of our carers show to help our customers maintain healthy and independent lives in the familiar surroundings of their own homes.

As the Regional Care Director, it is my role to lead a hugely skilled care team operating in London, Essex and the South East, ensuring the highest levels of care are being delivered to our customers on a daily basis. We have a large branch network equipped to deal with all your hourly care needs, and I am also the Registered Manager with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for our live-in program, where we are set up to support you on a more permanent basis.
I am inspired on a daily basis by the true lengths my colleagues go to, to ensure that customers can continue to live long, healthy lives from the comfort of their own homes. This is one of the main reasons that inspired me to join care.

Qualified carers providing a variety of care services in Kempston
Our carers are expertly trained in many conditions. They’re the best in the biz when it comes to general housekeeping, being a top-notch companion and being your pet’s number-one fan. But aside from this, they are also qualified in more complex conditions such as catheter and stoma care, administering your medications, and getting to grips with the specific needs of your condition. Care is our thing - we know how to do it best!
