What does our assisted living support include?
Assisted living from our home care in Lewes team is designed to provide extra support around the home for those who need it. Since 1989, our home care services have been allowing people to continue living in their much-loved family homes, surrounded by familiar furnishings, fond memories and loved ones. We firmly believe that when the need for additional help arises, there’s no better place to receive it than your own home. This is because the home environment provides a quality of life and a level of flexibility that a residential care home doesn’t. Our Lewes carers would love to hear how we can support you or a loved one to remain independent and secure in the comfort of your own home. And, for your peace of mind, all of our assisted living is independently regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Qualified carers providing assisted living in Lewes
In Lewes, our compassionate carers are at the heart of our widely-loved care services. Every Helping Hands carer is personally recruited, vetted, trained, and employed by us, ensuring they meet our high standards and are continually supported by one of the UK’s most respected and trusted home care providers. Every single one of our carers receives extensive initial training when they start with us, which is supplemented by regular refresher courses to ensure they always maintain their high level of expertise and knowledge.

When to consider assisted living
Assisted living from our Lewes carers can be a great solution for individuals who need some additional support with daily tasks but don’t require intensive, specialist care. Assisted living at home helps to promote independence by providing support in areas where you need it most. Our focus is on helping you continue your routines, maintaining a sense of normality and supporting your well-being, while allowing you to stay as independent as possible. However, if you would prefer, our carers are happy to take over any tasks you’re no longer comfortable handling.

How much does assisted living cost?
The cost of assisted living from Helping Hands will vary depending on your level of need. Our visiting care packages start from £31.00 per hour, whilst live-in care prices start at £1,675 per week for one person and £1,675 per week for a couple. Each care visit also incurs a £4.25 fee to cover your carer’s costs.
We know how important it is to you that your care is straightforward to arrange, sustainably affordable, and doesn’t come with any unwanted extras or additional costs. That’s why we’re completely transparent about the upfront costs involved in our industry-leading visiting and live in care in Lewes, and will never ever try to push you to sign up for any extra hours or services that you don’t want or need. Your local care manager in Lewes will always be on hand to help you make any changes you wish to make to your support at a moment’s notice.
