I am a mother to three children and two step children. I am married and enjoy spending quality time with my family and making lasting memories. I do enjoy floristry in my spare time and you will often find me creating arrangements and utilising any objects that I can. I like to walk and spend time walking along the local canal, especially in the summer months, with a picnic. I love being involved with community activities and over the last two years have had the privilege of being a volunteer for the charity Re-engage. This involves having group parties to my home and welcoming them with a lovely afternoon tea. I get so much enjoyment from this and listening to all of their stories of their past lives and present, even whilst they have me constantly at the kettle and getting through 12 pots of tea in two hours!

Hello, I'm Claire, Area Manager in the South West. I am mainly responsible for ensuring that each of our carers has the support and training they need to deliver an outstanding service to the customers daily. Engaging with the customers is also a vital role for me as it shows them that we are passionate about the care we provide, allowing us to stand out as one of the leading providers of care in the country.

Hi, I'm Adam and as Regional Care Director, I'm responsible for making sure that all the customers we help are looked after brilliantly. In order to do this, we need to have the very best carers and support teams there for them so that they can thrive within Helping Hands and do what they do best: care. I think we do everything possible to really understand our customers' needs and then do everything possible to find the right carer for them. Our carers do a wonderful job, and they are special people who are 'hardwired' to care.
Our Reviews
Fully regulated by the CQC
Our Redditch branch is fully regulated and accredited by the CQC
If you need a little more support at home but you don’t feel that residential care is the best option for you, visiting care from the Redditch personal care team may be the ideal solution for you. With visits available from 30 minutes all the way up to overnight stays, we’ll provide a personalised support plan that focuses entirely on you and your needs. The personalised support plan will be completely transparent when it comes to the cost of care.
It may be that you need a little extra help with getting dressed and ready for the day, or perhaps you are living with a progressive condition and you are finding more difficulty in going about your day-to-day life. Whatever it is you need, we’ll work with you to ensure that you have the support you need to feel safe and independent at home, at work or out in the Redditch community.
Agency care from our Redditch team
Agency care support from our Redditch team is so much more than just care; it gives you the support you need to live your life entirely on your terms. What’s more, it encourages you to live independently at home and out in the local community, whilst still providing you with the person-centred support that you need to feel safe and secure.
With no restrictions on visiting times, no set mealtimes or menus and no daily routines to follow, you will have the freedom to decide how to spend each day. If you want to have a day in the living room, filling out crossword puzzles or an afternoon at Morton Stanley Park with your beloved canine companion, we’ll be there to help you to do just that.
Redditch live-in care: round-the-clock support
Live-in care does exactly what it says on the tin; one of our dedicated carers will live with you in your home to ensure that you have the support you need, whenever you need it. As an ideal alternative to residential care, live-in care gives you the freedom to decide how you spend each day. So if you like to start your day with a morning walk around Arrow Valley Lake or coffee and cake in the Kingfisher, you’ll have the support you need that enables you to do just that.
With experience covering several conditions ranging from cerebral palsy to dementia to acquired brain injuries, the team are fully equipped to give you the support you need to remain independent at home – regardless of your condition. Whether you need help using a mobility aid, continence care or support using a hoist, our carers are fully-trained to cater to your every need, so you can rest assured that you’re in safe hands.
And it’s not just the practical care that we help with – your mental wellbeing matters too. We believe it’s important that you are able to continue to do the things that you enjoy the most, so whether you’d like to go for a picnic by the canal or go for a day out at the Bullring, we’ll be there to ensure that you can continue to do the things you love.
Private care Redditch: supporting your independence
You may be living alone and finding more difficulty in going about your usual routine, or perhaps you are concerned for your loved one who is becoming increasingly frail. With private care from the team, we provide a personalised care plan that is entirely tailored around you and your needs, so you don’t have to make any compromises to your independence.
Whether you are caring for your partner but you’re finding it more difficult than you used to, or you are simply feeling the sting of loneliness that can be so common in our elderly years, our Redditch team are here for you.
One-to-one dementia care from our specialist team
Over 850,000 people are living with dementia in the UK, and with over 100 different variants of the condition that affect each individual differently, coming to terms with a dementia diagnosis can be difficult for you and your surrounding family. And as the UK’s leading dementia specialists, we understand how important it is for you to have information, guidance and support available to you to help you throughout your dementia journey.
With patience and understanding, our Redditch team will work closely with you and your loved ones to ensure that you are fully supported with your everyday care needs, such as personal care, health & wellbeing and social activities, as well as helping you to understand the symptoms of your condition and how you can continue to enjoy your time together with your family.
Respite care for short-term support
Respite care is available to you for many reasons. It may be that your usual caregiver needs some rest and recuperation or that you are due to be discharged from the hospital, but you don’t feel comfortable going home alone. Perhaps you’re considering care but you’re not entirely sure if home care is right for you, so you want to try it out before you commit to long-term care.
With respite care from the Redditch team, we’ll work closely with you to build a personalised support package that focuses entirely on you and gives you the support you need, for as long as you need it.
Fully-trained home carers to support you in Redditch
Delivering outstanding home care is at the forefront of everything we do. And to make sure they’re fully equipped, each of our carers completes a comprehensive training programme that covers areas such as personal care, health & safety and moving & handling. But with their expert training and professional experience aside, each of our carers possesses the one quality that is pivotal to becoming a Helping Hands carer: kindness.
Alongside our award-winning training programme, our carers go through a full background check – including Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) screenings. And because our carers are all directly employed by us, we take care of all the paperwork involved.
Like all of our branches, our Redditch office is fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), so we are fully committed to always providing a safe and secure service. What’s more, we are the only home care provider to be endorsed as a Centre of Excellence by Skills for Care.
