It was great to have helping hands around when I came out of hospital. All the carers were very pleasant and obliging. I appreciated the Richmond manager being there too, to arrange everything for me at short notice. I would happily recommend Helping Hands to my friends.

My mother in law broke her hip recently & is still in hospital, my father in law has vascular dementia & needs 24/7 care. Initially I provided this care but have had to return to work. We had a carer called Emma who was very good, then we got a carer called Irena Grynn from your London branch who was absolutely excellent, we are in Derbyshire & Irena was told after one day that she had to go back to London as she was only on loan. I then filled the gap then we managed to get Irena back for 4 days. We pleaded with helping hands to let her stay for a month but they said they needed her back in London she returned to London today but there was no job waiting for her, we don’t understand why she had to rush back for nothing. My father in law was very settled with Irena. We do now have another carer called Donna who is also very good. We wish Irena to know that she was a very good carer an absolute gem & whoever gets her next is extremely lucky.

Because most of the Carers that visit me are very pleasant and when I rang the office to mention that one Carer didn't have much conversation which is why I have someone they dealt with it very speedily and after that it was much better.

My husband, the patient, gets on well with Sabina, the carer and seems very happy with the way she looks after him and tries to keep him engaged

Lindsey whom I spoke to at Helping Hands was very polite, efficient and called back when she said she would.

Found the liason person at head office very helpful and a great listener. He sent me prompt information within the hour and helped me to find my nearest branch. I have not had them yet but hope to have a care plan up and running sometime in May.
