Established in 1989, Helping Hands has been supporting our customers to live as independently as possible in their own homes for more than 30 years. With our visiting and live-in care services, we can fully support anyone who needs it, and the fact that we’re regulated by the CQC and CIW should give confidence that we really are the home care experts. Why not talk to us today about how we could be supporting you or your loved ones?
We can support you in and around Ruislip in Ruislip Manor, Eastcote Village, South Harrow, Northolt Park and the surrounding areas.
Ruislip is bristling with history and everywhere you turn you can see it, from the earliest settlements recorded in the Domesday book and now designated local heritage sites, the 13th century St Martin’s Church which is still in use, and the original buildings in the High Street that are now Grade II listed.
Helping Hands is bristling with history too; from our inception in 1989 we have cared for over 40,000 customers and enabled them to remain in the place they love most, their own home. Our visiting service from just 30 minutes a week and our around the clock live-in care means that we can care for anyone with any condition, so maybe you or your loved ones will be next?
For over 30 years, we've been supporting people with care, nurse-supported care and companionship across England and Wales. As industry-leaders in home care, we know what it takes to provide the right level of care so that you can retain your independence in the comfort of your beloved home.
Over 160 branches across the UK means we're local to you

Our visiting home care service can be as often or infrequent as you require; starting from just 30 minutes a week, we can support you regardless of your condition and whether you have mild or complex care needs. Our outstanding, person-centred care has seen us grow to have branches throughout the whole of England and Wales and with our fully managed care service you will be looked after by our care experts. If you’re living with complex care needs and would benefit from the supervision of one of our clinical nurses and a specially trained carer, then live-in care would be perfect. Your carer will be there around the clock so you need never be alone at home and they will be able to support you with every aspect of your care. They won’t be under your feet when you want to be on your own though, perhaps to spend time with family or friends, as the rest of their day will be taken up with household tasks, ensuring you always have nutritionally beneficial food to eat, for instance and taking care of the housework and laundry.
We’re not a care agency; we’re better than that. We are a company who has over 30 years of history behind us and we stand by our integrity and ethos for providing superior standards of care in our customers’ homes. We will never charge you for referrals or matching you with a carer and by directly employing all of our carers we protect them and you too. We are always upfront with our costs and will only bill you for the service you’ve received.
We are a dementia specialist company, as for over 30 years we have been supporting our customers to remain in the home they love after a diagnosis of dementia. While you may not need care right away, as your journey progresses you will most likely benefit from some professional support, and that’s where our empathetic and dedicated carers come in. Remaining in the familiar surroundings of your home, surrounded by precious memories can help to reduce confusion and anxiety, so why not call us today about dementia care?
If you’re looking for short-term care due to your loved ones going on holiday or perhaps your regular carer’s break, there’s no need to go into residential care when we could provide short-term respite care in your own home. Alternatively, you may never have had care before and want to see if you feel comfortable having someone coming to your home or it may be that you need care in a emergency; regardless of the reason we can get care into your home in 24 hours, when necessity dictates.
If you would appreciate a little extra help with household tasks that may have become more difficult for you, why not talk to us about elderly care? We can support you in your home with every aspect of your care including personal care, meal preparation, laundry, housework and so much more. Don’t struggle on with tasks that may be becoming difficult, stay safe and independent with some extra help from Helping Hands.
We think our carers are the best in the industry, as we only select people who share our ethos for delivering the highest quality, person-centred care to all of our customers throughout England and Wales. Our compassionate and empathetic carers come from all walks of life, but all have the same passion for taking care of our customers, and we train them well to ensure they are able to do that. We also screen them through the Disclosure and Barring Service which gives you and your loved ones extra confidence in our service, as does the fact that we’re fully regulated through the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales. It’s no surprise that we’re industry leading home care experts, so why not talk to us today?
