Ryde

The attractive Isle of Wight town of Ryde sits on the north-east coast, with expansive sands that reveal themselves at low tide. The pier is the fourth longest in the UK due to their width and is also the oldest surviving example. Ryde began to grow as a seaside resort when the villages of Upper and Lower Ryde merged in the 19th century, and the seafront architecture reflects this. With convenient transport links to the mainland and easily traversable surroundings, Ryde is the ideal place for a holiday or a longer stay. Helping Hands wanted to explore the beautiful Isle of Wight more and we felt that Ryde is an ideal starting point. We’re one of the UK’s oldest and best-established home care companies, delivering visiting and live-in care across the whole of England and Wales. And because all of our care services are fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and the Care Inspectorate Wales, you and your loved ones can be reassured about our quality care standards.

If you’re looking for exceptional care that makes you feel as if your home is still your own, then Helping Hands is the best option to keep you comfortably safe. Our carers are selected because of their tireless support for others, and we are proud of the difference they make, every single day. 24/7 live in care support

Live-in care takes care and support to another level. By having someone living in your home with you you’re guaranteed company whenever you want it throughout the day, meaning you’ll never be lonely again. You don’t need to worry that your home isn’t your own anymore as your carer will be discreet and only be with you when you want them to be. That means you still get to have time of your own and privacy when friends call, as well as having all your daily tasks undertaken.

Why Helping Hands is better than a care agency in Ryde

We’ve never been a care agency, and while we believe they fill a purpose, we’re happy to explain the distinction. Care agencies are focussed on sourcing a carer for you but they don’t take any role in managing your care package and you’ll probably have to employ the carer yourself, with all of the administration that entails. We’re not a care agency we’re a fully regulated private home care company who will manage your care package from the moment you call us. We also directly employ all of our carers which gives them better rates of pay and greater job security.

Qualified carers providing a variety of care services in Ryde

Our carers are second to none – but then we’re careful to only chose people who have natural qualities of compassion and kindness to work for us. It’s important to us that we look after our carers as well as they look after you, which is why we’re particular about offering our carers opportunities to develop their knowledge and build upon their existing skills. We have our own training academy at Helping Hands and we offer qualifications and short courses to all of our employees to ensure they get the most out of their job roles.
