Qualified carers providing emergency care in Surrey

Our carers truly are at the heart of everything that our customers love about Helping Hands, bringing huge amounts of compassion and skill to their roles. Every carer is carefully chosen based on their naturally friendly personality and commitment to providing quality care. They undergo a thorough background check before joining the team and participate in extensive training to equip them with the skills to support a variety of care needs. This initial training is then reinforced by regular refresher courses, ensuring our carers’ knowledge and skillset are kept up to date.

What is emergency care for?

Emergencies are often unplanned. With Helping Hands, you’re never left without support. We understand that the need for care can arise quickly – whether due to a sudden change in health, a fall, or an unexpected hospital discharge. We’re ready to assist with short notice, aiming to have one of our qualified carers at your home within 48 hours, and sometimes within just 24 hours. Whatever the situation, you can rely on our Surrey team to respond promptly, providing the care you need when you need it most.

When to consider emergency care

There isn’t a right or wrong time to opt for emergency care at home, but it can be a lifesaver in various scenarios. Perhaps a loved one has been discharged from the hospital sooner than expected, and there isn’t time to make other arrangements. Or maybe an unexpected illness or accident has created an urgent need for extra support at home. Sometimes, it’s even as simple as the regular caregiver suddenly being unavailable, leaving a gap in care. Whatever the reason, our friendly team in Surrey is just a phone call away to help you arrange the emergency care that best suits your needs.

We know how important it is to you that your care is straightforward to arrange, sustainably affordable, and doesn’t come with any unwanted extras or additional costs. That’s why we’re completely transparent about the upfront costs involved in our industry-leading home care, and will never ever try to push you to sign up for any extra hours or services that you don’t want or need. Your local care manager in Surrey will always be on hand to help you make any changes you wish to make to your support at a moment’s notice.
