Visiting care and home care in Thornton Heath
After the arrival of the railway, Thornton Heath experienced an almost overnight transformation of its local area, much like the rest of the UK. Prior to 1862, Thornton Heath had been an isolated, rural community; however, afterwards, it became a metropolitan suburb in its own right. This, along with development that ultimately linked London to Croydon, was considered a huge expansion project that, in today’s money, would’ve cost some £112 million.
While we can’t claim an expansion on that scale, Helping Hands has developed steadily over the past four decades from a single branch in the heart of the West Midlands to now encompass 155 locations spanning England and Wales. We still own all of our sites and would never consider franchising, as we know it enables us to retain consistency of the care and support we offer. In addition, because we’re fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and the Care Inspectorate Wales, you can be confident that we’re the UK’s most trusted home care provider too.
