Sutton is recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086 as having two churches and about 30 houses, and growing unrecognisably from humble beginnings is something that Helping Hands knows plenty about, as we have been supporting people to live comfortably and independently for over 30 years. We offer two different types of home care to our customers, visiting and live-in, or we can offer a blend of the two, with visiting carers supporting your live-in carers breaks and with certain aspects of your care. We’re fully regulated by the CQC and CIW which demonstrates our commitment to the highest standards of care, so why not call our friendly customer care advisors today and find out more?
For over 30 years, we've been supporting people with care, nurse-supported care and companionship across England and Wales. As industry-leaders in home care, we know what it takes to provide the right level of care so that you can retain your independence in the comfort of your beloved home.
Over 160 branches across the UK means we're local to you

Fully flexible care packages as your needs change
Flexible care provided in your own home with a fully qualified carer. Visits start from as little as 30 minutes up to several hourly or overnight calls throughout the week.
One-to-one support from a fully qualified care that lives with you. Full-time support so you can stay at home where you feel most comfortable.
With visiting care starting from as little as 30 minutes per week, we will work entirely around your needs, so you can feel safe and supported at home. Our compassionate carers will come at prearranged times of the day as often as you need, to ensure your care stays on track and your requirements are constantly monitored, so whether it’s help with your medication, mobility, meal preparation, personal care or housework, our fully managed service will ensure that you are always in the best hands with Helping Hands.
With live-in care, one of our compassionate carers will live at home with no compromise to your safety or independence, and will be there to care for your needs around the clock. However, just because they live with you doesn’t mean that your home will be taken over. Our carers are discreet and certainly won’t get under your feet. If you have more complex care needs then we can also support you fully to remain at home, thanks to our team of clinical nurses who will supervise and train your carer so your exact requirements are always expertly cared for.
Not being a home care agency means you don’t have to pay us referral fees and other costs that agencies often demand, so you get better value care as a result. It also means we can give our customers the best care possible in their own homes without burdening them with everything a traditional agency brings, such as worrying about who’s paying their tax and national insurance contributions. This means our carers can focus on the most important thing – looking after you.
When you’ve been diagnosed with dementia it can be a very anxious time, and that’s before you even start thinking about future care needs. Fortunately, here at Helping Hands, we are considered the dementia specialist home care provider, meaning that you can be confident in our ability to provide dementia care for you or your loved one. Remaining at home to receive dementia care means you will stay in the place that means the most to you, potentially reducing confusion and stimulating precious memories.
Respite care is suitable when your regular carer needs to take a break, so if you need support until they return, we can help. Instead of presuming you’ll have to go into a care home temporarily, respite care at home can provide our highest standards of care without you having to leave the home you love. Additionally, if the unforeseen happens, such as an unexpected hospital discharge or a carer becoming ill, you may need cover quickly, and we can get one of our respite carers to you within 24 hours of your first enquiry, under normal circumstances.
With elderly care from Helping Hands you will be able to receive support at home for those everyday tasks that may have become more difficult as time has gone on, such as housework, remembering to take your medication or personal care. Our friendly and helpful carers can make a huge difference to your day-to-day life and regardless of how we can help, you’ll be really glad you called us.
Not everyone gets to be a Helping Hands carer; we only select the most compassionate and empathetic people to look after our customers and we train them thoroughly to ensure they are prepared for every eventually. We believe our carers are the best in the industry because we only select people who share our ethos for delivering the highest quality, person-centred care, and along with our accreditation and regulation by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales, we think you’ll agree.
We could be supporting you or your loved ones to remain in the home you love, so call our friendly team of customer care advisors today. They are available seven days a week for your convenience, or if you prefer, contact us via our website.
