What are our Welwyn care services?
Our visiting-care and live-in-care carers do everything they can to provide assistance with every area of your routine, from just 30 minutes per week. Our visiting carers will call as often as you need them, at prearranged times of the day for the duration you need so that your daily life runs smoothly. Our live-in carers will be with you every hour of the day and night, meaning you’ll never be alone at home, giving extra reassurance to both you and your loved ones. Our carers can undertake every aspect of your daily care, regardless of which service you choose, including medication, preparing meals, personal care, housework, helping you to access the community and so much more.
Domiciliary care
Domiciliary care is care at home, as simple as it sounds, meaning that you receive the care you need in the home you love. By receiving home care, you stay in the place where you feel the most comfortable, and our carers will work tirelessly to keep you happy; after all our mission is, “Our care makes it possible for you to live safely at home” and we live by that every single day.

Leading care experts
At Helping Hands, we handpick the people who become our carers from the huge number of applicants, but we don’t compromise when it comes to the people we choose, as they have to possess huge amounts of natural compassion and empathy. After all, we can and do train them on everything they need to know to support our customers, however we can’t teach people how to care from the heart. To keep you safe though we conduct rigorous background checks as well as Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) screening, so that only people who should be coming in your home are doing so. We’re also fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales, which means you and your loved ones can be totally confident in our consistently high standards of care.
Our friendly customer care team are available seven days a week to take your call and help you discover more about care in the Welwyn area. Alternatively, you can contact us via our website and we’ll be happy to call you back, whenever is convenient for you.
