Visiting care and home care in Willenhall

Willenhall is located between Wolverhampton and Walsall, historically in the county of Staffordshire but today part of the Black Country in the West Midlands, made famous and established during the Industrial Revolution.

Helping Hands also has proud beginnings, starting in 1989 as a small one-branched operation and now extending across the majority of England and Wales. We have worked hard to become one of the leading home care providers with a visiting service that can come to you from just 30 minutes a week and a live-in service for around-the-clock care.

Home care Willenhall

Since 1989, we’ve been providing the highest levels of visiting care for our customers, meaning that you can be confident in our claims when we say we’re the UK’s home care specialist. We tailor your care completely around you, meaning that your routines are always respected, and you’re placed at the centre of your own care journey. Whether you need support with medication, meal preparation, housework, personal care, mobility or much more, you can be sure that you’ll get the highest levels of support from Helping Hands.

Willenhall live-in care

Our live-in care service promotes your independence at every stage, so you’ll never feel as if there’s a stranger living in your house; rather, you’ll have a welcome friend who’s there to ensure you live your best life possible. By having someone with you who’s available to care and be company for you around the clock, you’ll benefit from never being alone at home, which is reassuring for both you and your loved ones. Our discreet carers will never be under your feet, though, knowing you’ll sometimes want time to yourself, even if you have complex care needs.

Better than a care agency in Willenhall

We are not an agency; we are a private home care company that directly employs all of our carers so that they don’t have to worry about anything except supporting you. We are also open and transparent about our fee structure, meaning that you’ll know what to expect when your bill arrives, avoiding nasty surprises like referral fees and other ‘hidden’ extras.

Tailored domiciliary care

With our flexible packages of domiciliary care, we can ensure that you remain at the centre of your care experience at all times, thanks to the dedication of our incredible carers. Compared to residential care, home care means you get to stay in comforting and familiar surroundings, enjoying one-to-one care and your own routines and preferences, rather than being forced to get up and eat your meals at times to suit the establishment.

Home dementia care

When you’ve been diagnosed with dementia, it can be a very uncertain time for both you and your loved ones, and even though you may not require dementia care right away, it’s important to know there is a dementia specialist company that will be there when you need us. Remaining at home can help to reduce anxiety and confusion thanks to the familiarity of surroundings, and our amazing carers will be by your side every step of the way as your condition progresses.

Respite care for short-term support

If you’re not keen on going into residential care, even temporarily, then respite care at home could be the solution for you. Regardless of the circumstances, our carers come to you, meaning that your routines and preferences still get respected and your care will continue uninterrupted until your regular carer returns. Perhaps you’ve never had care before, and you’d like to try it at home for a few days, or perhaps it’s an emergency, and you need someone there within 24 hours? We can help.

Supportive elderly care

As we get older, tasks can become a little more difficult, especially if you’re living with a condition or the frailties associated with ageing. You could struggle on yourself with annoying daily tasks such as vacuuming, laundry and meal preparation, or you could talk to us about elderly care. Perhaps you’re less confident getting in and out of the bath or shower and would appreciate some support with personal care. Our carers will be able to do that and much more to help you live well at home.

Fully trained carers in Willenhall

We believe we’re the industry-leading home care experts, thanks in no small part to the amazing carers who work for us. We only employ the most compassionate and empathetic people to be our carers, and it shows in the exemplary service they offer to our customers. We train them well and offer opportunities for professional development as a thank you for all their hard work, and in addition to our full regulation by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales, we’re also accredited by the Dementia Action Alliance and are founder members of the UK Home Care Association.
