Since 1989 we’ve supported thousands of our customers to remain as safe, comfortable and independent in their own homes as possible, so why not talk to us today and discover how we could do the same for you or your loved ones? We’re fully regulated by the CQC and CIW, so our high standards of home care are without question.
We can support you in and around Belvedere, Lessness Heath, Erith, Plumstead, Abbey Wood, Thamesmead, Slade Green, Barnes Cray, Bexleyheath, Welling, Falcon Wood and the surrounding areas.
‘Belvedere’ is the Italian for “fine view” and this area got its name when in the mid-19th century, the landowner built a wooden tower (or Belvedere) on his heathland to gain views over his estate to the river Thames.
We’ve seen our area grow significantly since we were established in 1989 and we’ve subsequently supported thousands of customers to remain in the home they love whilst being cared for throughout our network of over 100 branches in England and Wales, thanks to our visiting and live-in care services.

Visiting care means that you get to stay at home in the place you love most, while being fully cared for and being able to live as independently as possible. Whether you only need a 30-minute visit once a week or several longer calls per day, our amazing carers will support you with everything, including personal care, housework, meal preparation, taking care of pets and medication support.
Our live-in care service will see you being supported expertly in the comfort of your own home by one of our carers, who will be with you around the clock. This means that you’ll have the reassurance of never being alone in your home, which is a source of comfort for your loved ones too. This also means you can have company as well as care as much or as little as you want and your carer will be able to undertake housework tasks in addition to your care, such as vacuuming and laundry.
Our expert service has been honed from over 30 years of private home care delivery and that is why we have never been, and never will be, a home care agency. Our fully regulated and managed service ensures that you always get the highest standards of care from us and that will always be the case. We also keep our prices competitive and easy to understand for both our visiting and live-in services.
Domiciliary care is care in your home, and we’ve been offering both visiting and live-in care to our customers for over 30 years, so we really are the home care experts. When you choose care from Helping Hands you get a bespoke package that will detail exactly how you like your care to be delivered and will be carried out to your exact requirements, thanks to your personalised support plan that details everything your carers need to know.
When you’ve been diagnosed with dementia it can throw all your carefully made plans for the future into disarray, meaning questions are asked about potential future care needs and how your life may change. Conversations should be had about care as early as possible as even if you don’t yet need care, you want to know that your exact requirements will be carried out when the time comes and thanks to our over 30 years of dementia care experience, we can help to make sense of your options.
Respite care from Helping Hands means you get the short-term support you need from our compassionate carers, while remaining in the home you love and don’t want to leave. Our fantastic carers can come to your home and support you with every aspect of your daily routine, such as medication, personal care, housework, laundry, meal preparation, mobility and so much more, whether you’re living with age-related frailties or the flare-up of an existing condition.
We value our carers highly because we believe they’re the heart of our business, going out every day and ensuring our customers get to live their highest quality of life possible in the comfort and security of their own homes. We select and train our carers thoroughly and they go above and beyond all the time to support our customers at home. This, combined with the fact we’re fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales, shows that we are committed to always delivering the very highest standards of care possible for our customers.
