Branch Care Manager
My role is the registered branch manager of Maidstone. My responsibilities are to support the office staff with the smooth running of the branch, recruiting carers and increasing the support in the local community by bringing in new customers and helping them to achieve positive outcomes that helps them to continue to live independently in their own home, working to CQC regulations and ensuring that Helping Hands continues to deliver a high standard of care. I enjoy supporting our care team enough to know that they are making a positive difference to those we support and that our team are providing a fantastic level of care to the Maidstone community. I’ve worked in health and social care for over 30 years and bring a wealth of experience to my role. Throughout my career I have developed a strong work ethic and a deep commitment to providing high quality care to those in need. My experience has taught me the importance of adaptability and effective communication, both of which are essential for building strong relationships with clients, staff, and external stakeholders. One of my key strengths lies in my ability to work effectively as part of a team and I am adept at fostering a culture of mutual respect.

High quality home care in Gravesend
At Helping Hands, we’re proud of our reputation as the UK’s leading home care provider, which has been built on the consistent excellence of our services. Our Gravesend care team is local to you, but benefits from the wider support and expertise of a national care provider. We believe this blend allows us to offer a uniquely exceptional care service which combines a personal, bespoke approach from local carers with the experience and insight that only a larger care provider can deliver. From your first phone call to our friendly customer support team, we’ll make sure every decision that’s taken regarding your care has you at the centre, and will monitor your condition and circumstances in case any prompt changes need to be made to your support.
24/7 live in care support
If you’re currently receiving visiting care but are perhaps starting to find you now require a more comprehensive level of support, you may wish to consider switching to live-in care. Live-in care is a brilliant option for anyone who needs round-the-clock assistance and attention, but would naturally prefer to remain in their own home rather than move into residential care. Coming to terms with your loved one no longer being able to look after themselves is never easy, and you may feel like the last thing you want is to have a stranger living in their home with them. We take a sensitive, compassionate approach to live-in care, where we’ll help your loved one find a live-in carer who is compatible with their personality and interests, and your carer will ensure your personal space is respected at all times so it doesn’t feel like they’re living on top of you.
Why Helping Hands is better than a care agency in Gravesend
We’re a private care provider, rather than a care agency, which means we can offer a number of guarantees that many agencies don’t. For instance, we employ every single one of our carers directly, so you know they’ve been fully vetted and expertly trained by our care experts in Gravesend. We also promise a fully-managed service, which means that if one of your regular carers is taken sick or needs a break, we’ll always replace them with another carer for the same time slot.
Qualified carers providing a variety of care services in Gravesend
Our wonderful carers truly are at the centre of everything that makes our care services so widely loved and trusted. We’re very selective about who we recruit to our Gravesend team, and that’s because we believe it takes a really exceptional person to be a great carer. We only hire people who display natural compassion and empathy in their assessment, and who are genuinely passionate about making a difference to people’s lives. Our rigorous training and vetting process not only ensures that we’re recruiting the right sort of people, but also provides every new carer with industry-leading skills and knowledge that allows them to offer a wide range of care services to people with varying needs.
