Branch Care Manager
As the Branch Manager for Helping Hands Walsall, my main role is to ensure that we provide a high quality and safe service. I make sure that the branch runs smoothly day-to-day ensuring that both customers and carers are happy. Our main goal is to ensure that we provide person centred care and achieve positive outcomes. I joined helping hands in February 2019 but have worked in care for over ten years, starting as a carer for a nursing home in Wolverhampton. I have worked with people with various needs and dependency levels. I became a senior carer for the dementia unit and this quickly became my main passion. I became a dementia friend and began to actively raise money for the Alzheimer's society. I joined Helping Hands as a care Coordinator for the Wolverhampton branch and I am now Branch Manager for Walsall. After caring for my grandad, who had Alzheimer's, I knew my calling was to work in the health care sector. I am extremely passionate about keeping people at home in their own environment and with their routine. A bit about me - I enjoy spending my free time with family and friends. I have two young children and two dogs. My ideal day would be a trip to the farm or zoo, followed by a picnic in the park. I enjoy listening to music and cooking/trying new food.

Other care we provide
High Quality Home Care in Bethesda
When you partner with Helping Hands for home care in Haywards Heath, you’ll benefit from having a care plan that is fully tailored to your personal needs and wishes. From your very first phone call to our friendly team, we’ll make sure you’re at the heart of every decision that’s taken regarding your care. When your local care manager in Bethesda comes to visit you for your initial care assessment, they’ll take the time to understand how we can best support you to continue living life on your own terms – whether that’s through helping you get into and out of bed at certain times, preparing particular meals, snacks and drinks, assisting with routines that you’re struggling with, and so much more.
24/7 Live-In Care Support
Live-in care involves having one of our expertly-trained carers come to your home to live with you and offer round-the-clock support. An increasingly popular alternative to residential care, our live-in care customers find that having a carer in their home gives them more independence, more control over their lives, and an overall better quality of life – whereas often the perception of live-in care can be that it will have the opposite effect. Our live-in carers are all trained to a very high standard, and can assist proactively with areas of life such as mobility, housework, personal care, errand support, meal preparation, and so many more.
Why Helping Hands is Better Than a Care Agency in Bethesda
If you or a loved one would benefit from round-the-clock support and companionship, live-in care might be worth considering. An increasingly popular alternative to residential care, live-in care offers you the opportunity to have one of our wonderful carers come to live with you in your home and provide proactive assistance at the times you most need it. Your live-in carer will be there to help you with personal care routines, physical support, housekeeping, meal preparation, getting out of the house, assistance throughout the night, and so much more besides. We know that inviting a stranger into your home is a major step to take, so we’ll make sure you’re matched with a live-in carer who is well-suited to your personality, likes and hobbies – ensuring you’ve got a valued companion as well as a carer.
Qualified Carers Providing a Variety of Care Services in Bethesda
We’re very proud of our fantastic Bethesda home care team – they truly are the best carers in the industry, and they’re always going above and beyond to make sure our customers receive the exceptional home care that they deserve. We make sure all of our carers are fully aligned to our company-wide family values, and we’ll only recruit candidates who demonstrate a compassionate, dedicated approach to their roles. Every new carer is provided with our in-house training which covers modules such as moving and handling, first aid, health and safety and more, and will continue to enrol in refresher courses so that they’re always up to date with the latest industry standards and best practices. We also want to ensure our customers have total peace of mind about the level of support they’ll receive, so all of our care services are fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales.
