Visiting care and home care in Bourne

Lying on the eastern slopes of the Kesteven Uplands and the western edge of the Fens, Bourne is an attractive market town close to Stamford, Spalding, and Peterborough. Historically, there are ancient woodlands that still exist nearby, part of the ancient Kesteven forest, and Bourne appeared in the Domesday Book of 1086, albeit under the name Brune.

We’re no strangers to history ourselves at Helping Hands, having been established since 1989 to support people who need extra support but wish to receive it at home. We offer visiting and live-in care across the whole of England and Wales, and with services fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales, you know you’ll always be in the very best hands.

Quality care at home

From short term support to longer term visits and live-in care, our Bourne team can help.

We've been caring for people for decades, helping them maintain their independence and continue to live well in the homes and communities they love.

Handpicked carers

We only employ those special people with the right levels of patience, empathy, and compassion to care for you as we'd want our own families to be cared for.

Care that's tailored to you

We know that good care means something different to each of us. That's why we take the time to get to know you and your family to understand your needs and preferences.

Supporting families

When finding care becomes a decision for the wider family, we can help you consider your options. We keep in touch once care is in place so we can adapt care as needs change.

High quality home care in Bourne

Our care services are designed with you in mind – we always put our customers at the centre of their care journey to ensure that you get to live the way you want to. Your bespoke package of care will be produced with you, to ensure that your routine is adhered to at all times, while your carers will be able to come to you at home from an hour or two a week, right up to all day and overnight care.

24/7 live in care support

Live-in care is special – having someone in your home with you around the clock means you aren’t worrying about being alone, nor struggling with everyday tasks. Your carer will reside in your home with you, keeping you safe, promoting your independence, and helping you to get the most out of life. Whether you need support with personal and continence care, housework, or exploring the local community, they’ll be there for you.

Why Helping Hands is better than a care agency in Bourne

Care agencies can’t offer the level of support and expertise you get with Helping Hands, they exist just to supply you with a carer, whereas we fully manage your care and employ your carer directly. Whether you’re recovering from an illness or living with frailties, you don’t want to be bothered with having to complete paperwork for your carer or check their references, and with Helping Hands you don’t have to.

Qualified carers providing a variety of care services in Bourne

Our carers are amazing – yes we’re biased, but our thousands of five star TrustPilot reviews also speak volumes. We only employ the very best people to work for us, ensuring they have natural qualities of compassion and empathy before we put them through our rigorous training programme and let them visit our customers. This means you and your loved ones can be totally confident in our exceptional levels of service and also be confident that your carers are motivated and well-paid for the fantastic work they do.
