Since 1989 we’ve been supporting our customers to remain in the home they love while being fully cared for, and in that time we’ve supported thousands of people to live as independently as possible. Our amazing carers will support you with every aspect of your daily life and thanks to our bespoke packages of care that are designed around you, you’ll be living your best life possible at home. You can be confident in our ability to deliver care to the highest standards as we’re fully regulated by the CQC and CIW, so talk to us today about how we could care for you or your loved ones at home.
We can support you in and around Burnley, Rose Hill, Pike Hill, Lowerhouse, Habergham, Worsthorne, Mereclough, Briercliffe and the surrounding areas.
Burnley began to develop in the early medieval period and during the Industrial Revolution was one of Lancashire’s most important mill towns, producing one of the world’s largest outputs of cotton cloth. By the 18th century it was also a major coal producer, thanks to the over a dozen pits in the town. Burnley has also held a market for over 700 years.
We were keen to explore the area around Burnley further, knowing that there would be customers in the nearby area who would appreciate us having a greater presence in the town. This makes it easier to access our visiting care service, which can be called upon from just 30 minutes per week, or our live-in care service which sees one of our dedicated carers being with you around the clock.
"As the Regional Care Director for the north, I am responsible for all types of care delivery to our customers - whether it be live-in care or our hourly service. My role involves ensuring that our carers deliver a consistent and seamless high quality of care to our customers. I manage a team of dedicated, hardworking people who strive to deliver a fantastic service.
"Following a highly successful career in welfare to work, recruitment and training, I wanted to look at a fresh challenge, and following some research and numerous conversations ,I believed that the care sector would be a good fit and that I could easily transfer my skills and experience into this role."

You may think that you have to leave the home you love and move into a residential facility when you need care, but that’s not the case with our exceptional visiting and live-in care services, available from just 30 minutes per week.
We believe our carers are the best in the industry; naturally kind and compassionate people who regularly go above and beyond to ensure our customers live their best lives while remaining in the home they love. When we recruit our carers we’re careful to only select people who share our ethos for consistently delivering the highest quality person-centred care, meaning you can always be sure that the person who comes to your home has got your wellbeing as their priority, at all times. We’re also fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales, so you can be confident that we’re as good at what we do as we claim to be.
Waking nights can be lonely and isolated times, as your family or day carers get their well-earned sleep but you’re unable to do so or need to be woken regularly for medication and fluids. With overnight care from Helping Hands though you can have the companionship you need during the hours of darkness while your loved ones continue to rest. If you are keen to stay in the home you love then care around the clock is a great alternative to moving into residential accommodation and really does provide the best of both worlds.
