Caerphilly is home to the biggest castle in Wales – Caerphilly Castle. With a rich history including Roman forts and medieval settlements, Caerphilly has always been a place of bustling life. The town in Welsh is named ‘Caerffili’ which translates to ‘fort’ and is now home to many people, including some notable ones such as the famous magician Tommy Cooper!
