Helping Hands Chelmsford have been assisting me with caring for my disabled daughter for 4 years now. They provide a wonderful caring and professional service from office staff to carers. They are always willingly to help and accommodate if shifts need moving around and we are very happy with the service and grateful to the carers who help my daughter on a daily basis.

We are now more than 2 months in to using Helping Hands and the experience has far exceeded expectations! Having endured care from two other organisations I cannot express the difference fully, but from initial contact with Lottie to establish our requirements, through to the care itself, I have been so impressed. Mum has Laura and Charlotte. Both truly care for Mum, just as I would. Mum has alzeimers and they u der stand her condition and now know Mum so well. From their arriving to leaving, there is a sense of calm and most days much laughter as Mum is got up, allowing me to work as I log on at 8am. They have never been late and are so respectful of Mum. She always comes out of her bedroom, pushing her frame, grinning. They make her very happy and it means a great start to the day all round. I only have 3 x 1 hour calls but this has never been an issue. I cannot praise all 3 ladies and their wider support enough. Thank you for making my life easier and of course, your compassionate care for Mum!

Zoe came across as very nice, understanding the needs that I said my Father-in-law required. She gave me the vast majority of information I needed and sent through an email within a short period of time confirming various matters. So, whether or not we choose to go ahead with Helping Hands, Zoe made a good impression.

Very helpful and gave lots of useful information about the service that could be provided.

I have been extremely happy with the care provided to my mother over the past few years by Helping Hands. Whilst I do not use their services daily they do their best to arrange for the same carer to attend my mother as she has dementia. I have been very fortunate to have Kim look after my mother and she has been amazing – my mother always recognises her and always smiles when she sees her. She also goes the extra mile – arrives a little earlier than scheduled and happy to stay a little longer if I am delayed. I breathe a sigh of relief when she arrives and relax knowing that my mother is going to be well looked after and safe whilst I am out and have total peace of mind.

The care service provided is excellent. Even though I do not use their services on a daily basis, the carers always arrive punctually and Helping Hands always manage to get the same carer for my mother and that continuity of care is so important when your mother has dementia and gives you a peace of mind. I have already recommended Helping Hands to my neighbours and will continue to do so.
