We offer two types of homecare for our customers, visiting and live-in. Visiting care will see our carers coming to your home at prearranged times from just 30 minutes a week, perhaps to help you go shopping, go to a medical appointment or just have a chat over a cup of tea. Live-in care sees one of our carers live with you around the clock, so that you’re never on your own at home. Having carers with you all day and night, whether you have complex care needs or would just like companionship, will reassure you and your loved ones that you’re never alone and will always receive the help you need, no matter the time of day.
Domiciliary care
When you have care in your own home it is often known as domiciliary care, and Helping Hands offer both visiting and live-in domiciliary care services. Whichever service you choose, you will always have exemplary care from dedicated and compassionate carers, focussed totally on promoting your independence and ensuring you always live comfortably and safely. Remaining in your own home can be physically as well as emotionally beneficial, as you’ll receive one-to-one personalised care, from a bespoke care package that is designed especially for you. Your carers can support you with every aspect of your daily routine, including medication, personal care, meal preparation, mobility, housework, laundry and so much more.
We believe that our carers are the best in the industry, because we purposefully only select people who are naturally caring to join Helping Hands. We train our carers carefully so that they have the full package of skills to support our customers effectively in their own homes. You and your loved ones can be confident that every single Helping Hands carer is fully DBS checked, to ensure that only people who should be there are coming into your home. Our ethos has always been to uphold our customers’ wellbeing and independence and because we’re fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales, you can have the highest levels of confidence in our consistent, expert levels of care.
