Visiting care and home care in Dagenham
Dagenham has a long history, first appearing in a document as Dæccanhaam in the 7th century. The name would’ve represented a “ham” or farm of a man called Daecca, and Dagenham remained largely unchanged until 1921, when the large Becontree estate began construction. Industry has also historically been an important part of Dagenham’s identity, with the large Ford plant situated in the town.
