You may be living with complex care needs, perhaps due to physical disabilities, or mental health, or perhaps you are managing well but would appreciate a little extra support. We will be able to support you regardless of your care needs, as we’ve been supporting people to live independently at home since we were founded in 1989. If your family already support you it may be that they need some help to balance everything in their lives too, but even if you only need us for an hour or two a week we’ll become a friendly, welcome presence.

You should never have to move out of the home you love and into residential care unless you want to, being able to enjoy exceptional, one-to-one care in your precious home. If you feel you are increasingly needing additional support, or perhaps you want to make the move into your own home, having care and support from Helping Hands will see you remain independent for as long as possible. We work in conjunction with you to plan your package of support, planning around your routine so that you get to live the way you want to. We also promote your independence at all times, encouraging you to do things for yourself while you are still able, always keeping you totally at the centre of your support experience.
