Home care in Frome
Visiting care and home care in Frome
From AD 950 until 1650 Frome was larger than Bath, and its primary output was wool and cloth. Despite traditional industry such as metalworking and printing declining, Frome has a thriving arts and sports scene. Named as “the sixth coolest town in Britain” by The Times, Frome has also been recognised as “the best in the South West” by The Sunday Times.
Always wanting to establish ourselves more in the areas we cover, Helping Hands felt that Frome was a place that’s growing in stature and that we should focus on more closely. If you are looking for care for yourself or loved ones we can offer our visiting care service from just 30 minutes per week, or if you’d prefer someone with you around the clock, why not consider live-in care.

Branch Care Manager
At Helping Hands Bath & Keynsham, my main role is to ensure that we provide a high quality of care and a safe service. I make sure that the branches run smoothly day-to-day ensuring that both customer and carers are happy and have the best positive outcomes. Providing person-centred care and support. I joined helping hands in Oct 2021 but have worked in care for over fifteen years, starting as a carer for a domiciliary provider in Bristol. I then joined a children's charity in Bristol who provided short breaks for disabled children ages 8-18 within a residential setting, after ten years I was ready for my next challenge. I joined Helping Hands as a Care & Training Practitioner, then Care Coordinator and now Branch Manager. I have always wanted to work in care since I was in school. I am very proud of my team who are hard working, caring, diverse and inspirational. A bit about me - I enjoy spending my free time with family and friends, enjoying pub quizzes, movies and eating out. I have two children who I am very proud of and two cats. My perfect day would be sat beside an open fire with my family and friends.
