Helping Hands was founded by Mary Lee in 1989, and since then we have been training each of our carers to ensure that they provide only the very best care for each and every one of the families we look after. But perhaps most importantly, each of our carers are only able to achieve this high standard because of their passion, empathy and willingness to go above and beyond – all of which are qualities that are pivotal to becoming a part of our team.
Prior to going out into the field, each of our private carers complete a comprehensive training course that covers a range of in-depth skills such as dementia care, safeguarding, moving and handling, mobility support and many more. And as the only home care provider to be endorsed as a Centre of Excellence by Skills for Care, you can rest assured that you are in safe hands.
Fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), we always ensure that our service is responsive, safe and effective and always adhering to strict CQC regulations. Being audited by an independent association ensures that we always deliver on our promise – to provide outstanding, person-centred care to each and every one of our customers.
