Home care in Hornsea
Visiting care and home care in Hornsea
A Yorkshire seaside town dating from at least the early medieval period, like many other towns Hornsea really prospered when the railways arrived in Victorian times. Once the railways were established it brought tourists to the resort and ensured that the population grew, while also cementing Hornsea as a commuter suburb of Hull.
With Helping Hands, whether you’re looking for visiting care from 30 minutes a week, or full-time live-in care, we can help. Providing every type of care from complex to companionship, your bespoke package of care will be tailored around you and your routines, keeping you always at the centre of your own care journey.

Regional Care Director
As the Regional Care Director for the north, I am responsible for all types of care delivery to our customers - whether it be live-in care or our hourly service. My role involves ensuring that our carers deliver a consistent and seamless high quality of care to our customers. I manage a team of dedicated, hardworking people who strive to deliver a fantastic service. Following a highly successful career in welfare to work, recruitment and training, I wanted to look at a fresh challenge, and following some research and numerous conversations, I believed that the care sector would be a good fit and that I could easily transfer my skills and experience into this role.

Better than a care agency in Hornsea
-
At Helping Hands, we are not and never have been a home care agency, we were founded as a family business back in 1989 and remain family-led today. Our ethos for ensuring our customers live their best life possible in the home they love has never changed, and because we directly employ all of our carers, they are highly motivated to provide outstanding care to our customers, every single day. So you know where you stand, we’re always upfront about our costs and pricing and will never charge you referral fees for finding your perfect carer; that’s all part of the service.

Emergency care
-
When you or a loved one needs care in a hurry you may think the only option is residential care, but that’s not the case. With emergency care our carers come to you, whether they’re needed to cover a regular carer’s illness, unexpected family trip or because of a sudden hospital discharge. Needing care quickly can be a very stressful time as you don’t necessarily know where to turn, however with Helping Hands we can offer short-term care in as little as 24 hours in most circumstances.

Overnight care in Hornsea
-
As we get older, we can become a little frailer and you might find that because of this, or any other condition you live with, you may not want to be on your own overnight. When the rest of your household is catching up on their sleep, you might feel you don’t want to disturb them, so you go for hours without the crucial care you need during the hours of darkness. This isn’t the case when you have overnight care from Helping Hands, as we can provide care on wither a visiting or live-in basis that ensures you are never alone when you need help.
