In my role, I am committed to delivering exceptional service and care, fostering positive relationships with customers and their families. Driven by targets, I always aim for outstanding results. As a wife, mother, and grandmother, I cherish family time. I enjoy exploring new places, shopping for shoes and handbags, and dining out, with a particular love for Asian cuisine.

Hi, I am Christien Ingrosso and I'm the Area Care Manager for the South East region.
As an area care manager, it is my role to lead a team of dedicated care experts in and around the London, Essex and South East region to ensure that the service and care we are delivering is to the highest possible standard for all our customers.
I am married and a father of two girls. I enjoy very much spending time with my family and going on walks with my dog, or as some may say he likes to walk me!
I have been fortunate enough to meet some fantastic employees throughout my time at Helping Hands. Each day I witness first-hand the determination and drive that each and all of our carers show to help our customers maintain healthy and independent lives in the familiar surroundings of their own homes.

As the Regional Care Director, it is my role to lead a hugely skilled care team operating in London, Essex and the South East, ensuring the highest levels of care are being delivered to our customers on a daily basis. We have a large branch network equipped to deal with all your hourly care needs, and I am also the Registered Manager with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for our live-in program, where we are set up to support you on a more permanent basis.
I am inspired on a daily basis by the true lengths my colleagues go to, to ensure that customers can continue to live long, healthy lives from the comfort of their own homes. This is one of the main reasons that inspired me to join care.
Fully regulated by the CQC

When you opt for home care from Helping Hands, we’ll make sure we take the time to understand your particular needs and preferences and will tailor your care plan accordingly. We know that your support needs will be unique to you, and that you’ll like things to be done in a certain way in your home. Perhaps you’re living with a medical condition that requires specialist support, or you’d simply like us to continue doing the housework the way your normal carer does it. We’ll be able to facilitate any requests you may have, ensuring you have full control over your respite care plan every step of the way.
24/7 live in care support
Live-in care can be a great option for anyone who is currently receiving visiting care but is at a stage where they might benefit from a greater level of support, or who is contemplating moving into residential care but would much prefer to remain in the comfortable, familiar surroundings of their own home. It can provide invaluable peace of mind both to the person receiving the care, and also to loved ones who may be worried about leaving a family member alone for long periods of time.
Why Helping Hands is better than a care agency in 'Leigh on Sea'
As a private care provider, Helping Hands offer a number of guarantees about our care which many agencies don’t. We recruit, vet, train and employ all of our carers directly, we offer a fully-managed service which ensures you’re never left feeling isolated or unsupported, we take proper care of our carers, and we handle all of the fiddly, time-consuming paperwork. Essentially, we take every step to ensure your care journey is as smooth and stress-free as possible, whilst also removing those same burdens from our carers so that they’re free to focus on providing you with exceptional support day in, day out.
Qualified carers providing a variety of care services in Leigh on Sea
Our carers truly are exceptional at what they do, and that’s because they’re so passionate about helping people. We only recruit carers who possess empathetic, loving personalities – we’re less bothered about experience, and more concerned about compassion. Then, when they start with us, we provide every new carer – no matter how experienced or otherwise – with our comprehensive, four-day training programme, which is recognised across the industry as being unparalleled. After this initial training, carers will continue to participate in regular refresher courses, so that their knowledge and skillset are always at the high levels required to provide their customers with transformative support.
