Branch Care Manager
I have over 20 years of experience in the care sector and am deeply passionate about making a positive difference in people’s lives, which I find both rewarding and fulfilling. I enjoy working at Helping Hands, especially the values they promote through our care staff. I have three grown children who I am very close to and love spending time with. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, reading, gardening, and the occasional lazy day with Netflix!

Private Care In Liverpool
One of the main benefits of private care is that it gives you much more control over your care plan and allows you to make choices that are more suited to your personal preferences. At Helping Hands in Liverpool, we’re completely committed to ensuring all of our care is person-centred, so we’ll make sure your wishes are at the heart of your care provision.
When you’re receiving care in your own home, we appreciate just how important it is that you feel part of the decision-making process and are able to personalise your home care plan. From meal preferences to bedtimes and so much more, using a private care provider gives you complete flexibility over how you’d like things to be done and lets you enjoy all the things you’d normally do on a daily basis.

Choosing Helping Hands rather than a care agency in Liverpool
Choosing care for yourself or a loved one can come at quite a distressing time where you may be having to arrange care quickly after being discharged from hospital or you have suddenly been taken ill.
The difference with a home care agency is that they will simply introduce you to a carer and then step back to allow you to manage the contract you have with them, their pay and paperwork and finding a replacement should they become unwell or want to take leave. Senior care agencies are also not regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the health care regulator that monitors care across England.
