What are our live in care in Mitcham?
At Helping Hands, our superb care team providing home care in Mitcham are on standby to provide you or your loved one with a wide range of care services that can be completely tailored to your specific needs and preferences. Our visiting care starts from just 30 minutes a week, which could be an ideal option for someone who just requires a bit of extra support or companionship every now and then. At the other end of the scale, our live-in care service gives people with more advanced care needs the opportunity to have one of our fantastic carers come to live with them in their home and provide them with 24/7 support, ensuring they’re never left feeling isolated. We’re also able to offer specialist dementia care, overnight care, respite care and more to people with other needs.
Domiciliary care
Normally called ‘care at home’, domiciliary care gives you or your loved one the opportunity to remain at home whilst receiving dedicated one-to-one support from an expert carer. Traditionally, people requiring additional care might have chosen to move to a residential nursing home or a hospice, but an increasing number of people are instead opting to receive one-to-one care in the comfortable, familiar surroundings of their own home. Home is often a fantastic place to be cared for, because it’s where you’re at your at your most confident and secure and it means you’ll be closer to the people you love.

Leading care experts
We’re extremely proud of our Mitcham care team – they truly are the heart and soul of our organisation, and they go above and beyond every day to ensure our customers receive only the very best care. All of our carers have been specifically recruited for their attentive, compassionate approach to their care, and have passed a number of thorough background checks before joining us. Then, when they start with us, every carer receives our award-winning training which equips them to provide a wide range of care services to people with varying levels of needs, and will continue to regularly participate in refresher courses to keep their knowledge and skillset up to date. We also make sure all of our care is fully regulated every step of the way by the Care Quality Commission.
