Visiting care and home care in Oldbury
Oldbury’s place name comes from 'Ealdenbyrig', Eald being Anglo-Saxon for 'old' and a burh being a fortification; ‘byrig’ being the plural of burh. Consequently, this means that 1000 years ago Oldbury was considered old, so its rich history is without question.
Helping Hands also has a rich history, and while it doesn’t date back 1000 years yet, we do have over three decades of experience providing visiting and live-in care for our customers.
