When you choose care from Helping Hands you don’t just get the support of our dedicated and compassionate home carers, you also get the benefit of our 30+ years in the industry. We’ve cared for thousands of people throughout England and Wales, enabling them to remain as independent as possible in the home they love. We’re fully regulated by the CQC and CIW meaning you can have full confidence in our professional service to take care of you or your loved ones, so why not call us today and discover why thousands of other people have too?
We can support you in and around Oldbury, Langley Green, Rood End, Blackheath, Bristnall Fields, Rowley Regis and the surrounding areas.
Oldbury’s place name comes from ‘Ealdenbyrig’, Eald being Anglo-Saxon for ‘old’ and a burh being a fortification; ‘byrig’ being the plural of burh. Consequently, this means that 1000 years ago Oldbury was considered old, so its rich history is without question.
Helping Hands also has a rich history, and while it doesn’t date back 1000 years yet, we do have over three decades of experience providing visiting and live-in care for our customers. Our visiting service can start from just 30 minutes a week meaning that we really can design a care package for everyone.
For over 30 years, we've been supporting people with care, nurse-supported care and companionship across England and Wales. As industry-leaders in home care, we know what it takes to provide the right level of care so that you can retain your independence in the comfort of your beloved home.

Even though you may not need care right away after a dementia diagnosis, it’s natural that questions can start to arise about long-term care and who is going to support you as your condition progresses. Our dedicated and empathetic dementia carers can help you to live your best life with dementia, thanks to our unique understanding of the different types, gained from our 30 plus years of dementia experience. Remaining at home in the place you love most for dementia care can make such a huge difference to your day-to-day life, as confusion and anxiety can be reduced in familiar surroundings.

As we age, some people can find that certain tasks at home become more difficult, perhaps due to age-related frailties or conditions. Our dedicated carers can offer extra support to you at home whether it be cooking you a nutritious meal, personal care or taking care of the laundry amongst many other things, so don’t struggle on; we can do those things for you whilst you relax with a cup of tea! Why not talk to us today about elderly care and discover how we could make life that little bit easier for you?
Our carers are compassionate and empathetic, and we train them thoroughly to look after our customers, so you can be sure that at all times you or your loved one will be at the centre of your own care journey. On top of this, they are all screened through the Disclosure and Barring Service, so you can be sure that they’re safe to be within your home.
