Home care in Radcliffe
Visiting care and home care in Radcliffe
Radcliffe played a key role in the textile industry throughout the 19th century, facilitating numerous cotton mills and workhouses. Several mill buildings are still standing today and are used for both residential and commercial purposes.
At Helping Hands, we don’t claim to be textile experts, but exceptional home care is definitely woven into our fabric. Our history might not date back to the 19th century, but we do have over 30 years’ experience of providing our customers with life-changing care.

Branch Care Manager
My name is Jacquie, the Bolton branch care manager, I am responsible for the day to day running of the branch. My role involves that our carers deliver a consistent and seamless high-quality care to our customers. It is my responsibility to ensure that our customers are always receiving the level of support that they need in order to remain comfortable and independent at home. I come with over a decade of care experience. I am a CMI Chartered manager also holding a BA Hons in Healthcare Leadership. Accredited with the prestigious NHS Mary Seacole Leadership academy. I hold several training and teaching qualifications. Following a highly successful career in staff development and training, I wanted to look at a fresh challenge closer to home. Following some research, I believed that the Bolton branch would be a good fit and that I could easily transfer my skills and experience into this role.

Better than a care agency in Radcliffe
-
We’re not a home care agency, and we never will be, because we think it’s important that we’re able to directly employ our carers in order to provide customers with the best care possible in their own homes. Being a private care provider allows us to offer bespoke care packages with no hidden costs, and cater to the specific priorities of each individual customer.
Our ethos is to be a person-centred care provider, which means we want both our customers and our private carers to feel highly valued.

We understand that the dementia journey is different for each individual, so our specialist dementia carers place emphasis on creating an environment in which you can keep close to loved ones and experience familiar surroundings whilst receiving the assistance you need every step of the way as the condition develops.
