We understand how stressful and daunting it can be organising care for yourself or a loved one. However, at Helping Hands we make sure your care journey with us is simple, straightforward and stress-free.
Since 1989, we have been delivering care at home for more than 30 years and we make sure that you are provided with exceptional care that is fully tailored to your requirements. Our Romford care team offers two packages: visiting care and live-in care. With all our care packages we are always upfront about our costs. After all, we don’t want you to be faced with any unpleasant charges when you receive your bill.
All our care plans are designed around your needs. No matter what condition you are living with, we make sure you are provided with the very best care, you deserve. At Helping Hands, we like to be clear about our prices, so here’s a breakdown:
Visiting care costs
If you need care a few times a week, then you may want to opt for our visiting care package. Our compassionate carers can make you tea and toast for breakfast, take you to your appointments and help with household chores. Prices start from £22.29 per hour, with flexible costs for visits lasting 30, 45 or 60 minutes. Prices vary due to your location and whether you choose to have care during weekends and bank holidays. There is also a £4.50 call-out fee to cover travel expenses.
Live-in care costs
If you need round-the-clock care then you may want to opt for our live-in care package. This way you and your loved ones can spend quality time together while we take care of the laundry, washing, cooking and much more. Prices start from £1,460 per week for a single person and £1,700 per week for a couple.
You may be entitled to additional funding that can help towards your costs. However, this depends on your personal circumstances. You can request a Financial Assessment from your local authority to see if you qualify for any funding. If you would like more information you can visit our FAQs page or talk to a member of our customer care team.
As well as funding, you may be eligible for benefits to help towards your care. This can include Attendance Allowance and Pensions Credit. You may also be entitled to help with the costs of your energy and heating bills in the winter. For more information, you can speak to our staff at our Romford branch. They will be more than happy to help.
If you would like more advice on home care funding, then give our customer care team a call today. They are available seven days a week and are happy to answer any queries you may have.
