Home care in Shropshire
Visiting care and home care in Shropshire
Since 1989, Helping Hands have been providing our customers with empathetic, person-centred home care services. Our home care focuses on enabling those who need additional care on a day-to-day basis to receive the support they need whilst continuing to enjoy the comfortable, familiar surroundings of the home that they love.
We firmly believe that home is the best place in which to receive the support you require, because it allows you to maintain your normal lifestyle, routines and hobbies as best as possible. You’ll also be able to have more control over the type of care you’re getting, as well as choosing when your carer visits.

Meet the Shropshire care team
Area Care Manager
Hello, I’m Denny, area manager for Helping Hands’ Central region. It’s my responsibility to meet with customers to gain feedback on a regular basis and ensure that they are happy with our service, to meet potential new customers face-to-face and to manage a wonderful team of visiting carers, supporting them with supervisions and appraisals. I am also a Dementia Champion, which has really developed my understanding of support and supervision for those working with, and living with, the condition.

Home Care In Shropshire
Home care can be a great option for anyone who needs a bit of extra help but doesn’t wish to move into residential care. Our friendly Shropshire care teams offer home care on both a visiting and live-in basis, with visits starting from as little as 30 minutes per week. Whatever your requirements and preferences, we’ll tailor your care to you.
When you partner with us for home care, you’ll benefit from having carers who have all been selectively recruited for their compassionate, friendly personalities and have undergone extensive background checks to ensure they’ll be a perfect fit for us and for you.
24/7 Live in care Support
At Helping Hands, we’ve been providing live in care in Shropshire for long enough to know that a one-size-fits-all approach rarely works. That’s why we’ll make sure you get a package of care that is fully tailored to your specific needs and preferences.
Your friendly local team will take the time to get to know the way you like things to be done around the home, and draw up a care plan that ensures you’re receiving personalised support in all the areas you need it. We’ll then continue to review your care requirements on an ongoing basis, so that we can make sure we’re always giving you the right type and level of support.
Why Helping Hands is better than a care agency in Shropshire
We believe that it takes a certain type of person to be a truly exceptional carer, so we’re extremely particular about who we hire to our care team in Shropshire. When they start with us, every new carer receives our industry-leading training, which equips them to provide a wide range of care services to people with varying needs – ranging from types of dementia, to those living with limited mobility.
This training is supplemented by regular refresher courses to ensure our carers’ skillsets are kept up to date with the latest care industry standards and best practices.
