Home care in Snodland
Visiting care and home care in Snodland
‘Snoddingland’ existed well before the Domesday Book of 1031, when it was referred to as ‘Esnoiland’, appearing in a charter of 838 which saw King Egbert of Wessex give “four ploughlands in the place called Snoddingland and Holanbeorge” (Holborough) to Beornmod, the Bishop of Rochester. Having a rich heritage to our name is something we are very proud of at Helping Hands, and while we can’t compete with hundreds of years of history yet, we are proud of our more than 30 years in the home care industry so far. We offer a visiting care service from just 30 minutes a week right up to full-time, live-in care, so whatever you needs, we can design the perfect package of care for you.

Branch Care Manager
My role is the registered branch manager of Maidstone. My responsibilities are to support the office staff with the smooth running of the branch, recruiting carers and increasing the support in the local community by bringing in new customers and helping them to achieve positive outcomes that helps them to continue to live independently in their own home, working to CQC regulations and ensuring that Helping Hands continues to deliver a high standard of care. I enjoy supporting our care team enough to know that they are making a positive difference to those we support and that our team are providing a fantastic level of care to the Maidstone community. I’ve worked in health and social care for over 30 years and bring a wealth of experience to my role. Throughout my career I have developed a strong work ethic and a deep commitment to providing high quality care to those in need. My experience has taught me the importance of adaptability and effective communication, both of which are essential for building strong relationships with clients, staff, and external stakeholders. One of my key strengths lies in my ability to work effectively as part of a team and I am adept at fostering a culture of mutual respect.

Better than a care agency in Snodland
-
Home care agencies traditionally don’t employ their carers directly, preferring instead for them to manage their own employment or even make the customers do it for them. We feel this isn’t the way to get the best out of either parts of the relationship so we ensure our carers are looked after, so that they can just focus on the most important thing – your care. Thanks to our personalised support plans that support your bespoke package of care you’ll get to live your best life in the home you love.
