Home care in Westbury
Visiting care and home care in Westbury
Westbury is nestled in the picturesque town of Wiltshire, where you can find the majestic White Horse on Westbury Hill, Bratton Down. The iconic symbol is said to have been carved to commemorate King Alfred’s victory at the Battle of Ethandun in AD 878 and has been preserved ever since. It is an impressive 55m tall and 52m wide and can be seen from up to 16-17 miles in all directions.
Along with its rich heritage, Westbury is home to many of our customers who can live independently at home, thanks to our compassionate and friendly carers. They help with everyday tasks including, stacking the dishwasher, putting the bins out, changing the bedding, accompanying them to community classes and more importantly companionship.
As our care services are fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales, you can relax knowing you will receive the high-quality care you deserve. After all, we want the best for you, nothing less.

Meet the Westbury care team
Branch Care Manager
At Helping Hands Bath & Keynsham, my main role is to ensure that we provide a high quality of care and a safe service. I make sure that the branches run smoothly day-to-day ensuring that both customer and carers are happy and have the best positive outcomes. Providing person-centred care and support. I joined helping hands in Oct 2021 but have worked in care for over fifteen years, starting as a carer for a domiciliary provider in Bristol. I then joined a children's charity in Bristol who provided short breaks for disabled children ages 8-18 within a residential setting, after ten years I was ready for my next challenge. I joined Helping Hands as a Care & Training Practitioner, then Care Coordinator and now Branch Manager. I have always wanted to work in care since I was in school. I am very proud of my team who are hard working, caring, diverse and inspirational. A bit about me - I enjoy spending my free time with family and friends, enjoying pub quizzes, movies and eating out. I have two children who I am very proud of and two cats. My perfect day would be sat beside an open fire with my family and friends.

High quality home care in Westbury
At Helping Hands, we are committed to providing you with the very best care, no matter what condition you are living with. This includes dementia care, heart disease, cancer care and Parkinson’s.
We provide person-centred care at home from as little as 30 minutes a week with visiting care, giving you the flexibility to receive support when you need it most. Whether you need help picking out your fruit and veg, collecting your medication, or keeping up to date with household duties, you can always count on us.
24/7 live in care support
Whether you are living with a condition that limits your mobility or simply need some companionship, live-in care can be a viable choice. It is becoming a popular choice among older adults, where they can receive round-the-clock care. It truly is a game-changer. You can receive the care you need without leaving the place you love most, home. Plus, you can stay close to your loved ones, personal possessions and even sleep in your own bed.
Why Helping Hands is better than a care agency in Westbury
We have always provided care as a private home care provider, not a care agency. We recruit our carers ourselves, and our in-house training academy leads our comprehensive training programme, which allows us to provide our carers with the skills they need to provide compassionate care. We also oversee their contract and ensure they are looked after well. Plus, you won’t be faced with unnecessary paperwork or agency fees; we will always be upfront with you.
Qualified carers providing a variety of care services in Westbury
Our carers are dedicated individuals who will always put your needs first. They will do whatever it takes to make a difference in your life.
They are fully trained to provide you with outstanding care and always keep their skills up to date via our refresher courses. To ensure your safety at home, we carry out a strict background check on all our caregivers. So, rest assured you will be well looked after by individuals you can trust.
