Whether you have visiting care or live-in care, you will still receive expert levels of support, including personal care, medication administration, mobility support, meal preparation and more.
Emergency care
Needing care in an emergency can be a fraught and stressful time, so you need to know that there is a company who can care for you or your loved ones at very short notice. Helping Hands can provide a carer to support you within 24 hours when needs be, which is comforting in the event of an unexpected discharge from hospital, a regular carer going sick or the aftermath of an accident.
Elderly care
If you’re living with age-related frailties or the ongoing symptoms of a long-term condition, you may be finding it difficult to carry out everyday tasks in your home. This is where our amazing carers come in, being able to support you via elderly care with every aspect of your needs, including helping you to shower or bathe, taking care of vacuuming, changing beds and laundry, preparing meals, supporting your medication and mobility or helping you to access your local community.
Domiciliary care
With domiciliary care – care at home – you decide what happens with your care, while we support you in conjunction with your personalised support plan that will be updated whenever you need it to be. Having care at home means you choose your routine, not fit around care home staff to help you, and you’ll always enjoy the flexible nature of your support, whether you select visiting or live-in care.
Our carers are expert when it comes to looking after our customers in the comfort of their own homes, and we select and train them carefully to ensure that they are able to fully support our customers. We can’t train them to be compassionate and empathetic though, which is why we make sure they have that naturally. We’re also fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales which is testament to the fact that we’re known as industry-leading home care specialists.
