Home care in Wymondham
Visiting care and home care in Wymondham
Developing during the Anglo-Saxon period, Wymondham saw a priory established in 1107 and a market in 1204. Wymondham also became known as a centre of woodturning and brush-making, something it retained until the brush factories closed in the late 20th century.
At Helping Hands, we understand small beginnings as we were established in Alcester, Warwickshire in 1989, and have grown steadily ever since to cover the majority of England and Wales with our branch network. With our live-in and visiting care services starting from just 30 minutes per week, you can be sure we’ll provide you with the highest quality care.

Better than a care agency in Wymondham
-
Our carers feel highly motivated to deliver fantastic standards of care to our customers because we value them so much, and they know it. We aren’t and never have been a home care agency, meaning there will be no hidden costs that you weren’t expecting, as we pride ourselves on our transparency of service and the fact that our care is fully regulated and managed. Our priority is always your care and we couldn’t achieve this without our fantastic carers, who are motivated to care because they know how highly we value them.
-
Tailored domiciliary care
-
You’re in control when it comes to domiciliary care; you say what happens in your own home while you receive your care, on either a visiting or live-in basis, or both where necessary. Having care at home means you say when you want something done, not when the care home has available staff to help you. If you want to eat your breakfast at midnight then it’s your choice, and you’ll always enjoy the flexible nature of your support plan that’s tailored solely to your needs and routine.
-
Dementia care for peace of mind
-
When you’ve been diagnosed with dementia it’s true to say that you can feel as if your world is changing forever, however it can also be seen as an opportunity to talk to loved ones about some of those more important topics, such as dementia care. Even though you may not require care until much further into your dementia journey, it’s important to discuss your wants and needs when you feel able to do so. This means that when the time comes for care, your loved ones know how you want to be supported and being a dementia specialist with over 30 years’ experience, we’re the company to trust.
-
Respite care for short-term support
-
When your permanent care needs to take a break, who do you turn to? Your loved ones may not be able to help, or perhaps they’re the ones giving you your care and they need some time away to re-energise. That’s where respite care comes in, as you can have a temporary carer for days or weeks at a time who will ensure your care continues to the same high standards that it always usually does. Even in the case of an emergency or unexpected event you need to know that care can get to you quickly, and with us you can have a carer with you in 24 hours.
-
Elderly care at home
-
We don’t expect anyone really enjoys doing housework, no matter what age they are, but as get older we can find it becomes more physically difficult to continue doing the things we used to do with ease. If you’re finding housework, personal care or preparing meals a struggle, why not talk to us about elderly care today? Our friendly and helpful carers can also help you with medication, mobility and so much more, so let Helping hands help you today!
