Meet the Brentwood care team
Branch Care Manager
Hello, my name is Angie and I am the branch care manager for the Brentwood branch. I am married and we have 3 fur-babies. My family are very important to me and I love spending time with them when I can. In my downtime I love to spend time on our allotment, playing golf or going for nice walks to get away from it all. I like to keep an active mind and enjoy learning new things and would love to learn more Spanish.

Why Helping Hands is better than a care agency in Brentwood
Since 1989 we have remained a family-run business, so we understand more than anyone how important it is that you receive the care that you need. Each of our carers are kind and compassionate by nature and each complete award-winning training covering areas such as manual handling, health & safety, safeguarding, equality & diversity, medication support and more.
In addition to in-house training, all of our carers are employed directly by Helping Hands, so you don’t need to worry about any paperwork or background checks. We ensure that each of our carers receive Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) screenings so you can rest assured that you’re in safe hands.
Not only are we the only home care provider endorsed as a Centre of Excellence by Skills for Care, but we are also fully licensed by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Respite care for short term needs
We understand that care needs can arise at any time. Whether it’s an unexpected illness or injury or you are due to be discharged from hospital and you’re feeling anxious without the constant support that you’ve been used to. With as little as 24-hours’ notice, we can swiftly put a bespoke care package in place to give you the support you need, for as long as you need it.
The team at our Brentwood branch will not only provide you with the high-quality care that you’re expecting, but they will also ensure a seamless transition between carers so that you receive minimal disruption to your daily routine.
Whether you’re looking for support for a weekend or a fortnight, our Brentwood team can provide a personalised respite care package for any of the following instances:
- Hospital discharge – If you need short-term care after time in hospital to rebuild your independence
- Emergencies – When your regular carer needs to tend to an emergency
- Short breaks – Giving your carer some time to rest and recuperate without any detriment to your ongoing care
- One-off occasions – When you want to join your family to enjoy a special event, such as a wedding or birthday celebration
