Meet Lisa, our Branch Manager

Lisa Sims

"Hi, I’m Lisa. I am a very enthusiastic, passionate and caring person, and I am very proud to be the Branch Manager for Helping Hands Chichester. I am so lucky to lead such a positive and experienced team, and it’s a pleasure to go out and meet with our existing and potential customers."

Regular visiting home care to support you at home

We understand that making the decision to arrange for care for you or your loved one can be a difficult time for all involved, but with guidance and support from our Chichester team, we’re here to alleviate your worries and guide you through every step of your journey with care. We’ll arrange to meet with you at a time and a place that suits you and guide you through the different care options that are available to you. And because we specialise in person-centred care, we’ll get to know you and your preferences so that we can ensure that your care package is completely unique to you.

So, whether you are in your elderly years and need some support with your personal care, or you are living with a progressive condition and you would like more intensive support as your symptoms progress – we’ll work with you to build a bespoke package of care that is centred entirely around you.

Dedicated, ongoing support with live-in care

Whether you are living alone, with your partner or with your beloved pet, live-in care enables you to have a constant source of reassurance throughout the day and night, so you know that you always have someone to call on when you need it. Whether you need continence care throughout the night or support with going out and about into your local community, a live-in carer enables you to have the full-time support of residential care without the added stress of giving up the home that you know and love.

And whilst our care packages are designed to suit your daily routine, it’s not just the practical support that we help with – your emotional wellbeing is important to us too. If history is your passion and you like to explore the stories of Chichester’s past, or you would just like somebody to help you walk your canine companion around Priory Park – the team are here to support you in any way you need.

Whether you are living alone and having difficulty with going about your daily routine, or you are living with your partner and would like some help to alleviate the pressures of supporting each other, elderly care from our Chichester team is the ideal solution to give you the care you need with no compromise to your independence.

If you love spending time in the garden and are struggling to dead-head the flowers, or you enjoy a day out at Goodwood Motor Circuit but you don’t feel confident going on your own, the team will tailor your support that caters for all your needs – whether that is practical support around the house or helping you to enjoy the things you love to do.

Fully-trained carers to support you in Chichester

Helping Hands was founded by Mary Lee in 1989, and has since been committed to providing the best level of care to thousands of individuals throughout England and Wales. And what’s more, we are fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to ensure that we are always providing a safe, responsive and effective service that always adheres to the latest industry standards.

Following a stringent recruitment process, each of our carers are required to complete a comprehensive in-house training programme that covers modules such as moving and handling, medication administration, personal care and safeguarding, so that they are fully equipped to provide only the best level of care. Throughout their time with us, our carers are also required to complete regular refresher training courses to ensure that their skills and expertise are always at the best that they can be.
