All personal care services are provided by our wonderful Godalming Helping Hands care team, who are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

It might be that you’re finding it increasingly difficult to stay on top of household chores, or you’ve suddenly been taken unwell and are unable to do certain things that you used to find straightforward. Our carers are discreet, empathetic and dedicated to supporting your needs, however straightforward or complex they might be.

We offer respite care for those occasions where you find yourself needing care for a short period of time. It might be that your regular carer is taking a well-earned break, or you’d like to go on holiday and need someone to accompany you.

Respite care with Helping Hands means that whatever your plans, you don’t have to worry about being left unsupported or unable to do the things you want.

We also offer emergency care for those occasions when you unexpectedly find yourself in need of a carer at very short notice. Perhaps you’ve been discharged from hospital earlier than anticipated, or you’ve suffered an injury or had surgery that requires a period of rest and rehabilitation.

We’re normally able to provide you with one of our dedicated, compassionate carers within 24 hours’ notice, ensuring you won’t have to worry about personal care, the housework being done or the pets being fed and allowing you to focus on making a healthy recovery.

Michelle and the team have all the necessary skills and characteristics to assist you in whatever way you might need, and all our carers undergo practical and theoretical training in areas such as first aid, moving and handling, medication, safeguarding and more.

Furthermore, to ensure our care standards are constantly the best they can be, we provide our carers with regular refresher training.
