Helping Hands’ compassionate and friendly team are dedicated to providing the very best home care to people throughout the Hounslow area. Our compassionate carers go above and beyond to ensure that our customers are fully cared for and supported in the place they love best, their own home. We’ve been home care experts since 1989 and in that time, we’ve cared for thousands of customers, enabling them to stay in the place that means the most to them. We’re fully regulated by the CQC and CIW, meaning that you can be confident in our fully managed service. Call us today to discover how we could be caring for you or your loved ones in the home you love.
We can support you in the Hounslow and surrounding areas including Hanworth, East Bedfont, Whitton, Lower Feltham, Woodlands and Lampton.
Hounslow is a large suburban town in West London that was once centred around the Holy Trinity Priory founded in 1211. This caused what had been a small village to expand enormously, although the priory was sadly dissolved in 1539. At Helping Hands we’re no stranger to rapid growth either as since our foundation in 1989 we have gone from strength to strength throughout England and Wales. Because we’ve been supporting people to remain as independent as possible while being cared for within their own home for over 30 years, we can offer superlative service through our visiting and live-in care services.
"Hi, I am Christien Ingrosso and I'm the Area Care Manager for London & Essex. As an area care manager, it is my role to lead a team of dedicated care experts in and around the London & Essex area to ensure that the service and care we are delivering is to the highest possible standard for all our customers.
"I have been fortunate enough to meet some fantastic employees throughout my time at Helping Hands. Each day I witness first hand the determination and drive that each and all of our carers show to help our customers maintain healthy and independent lives in the familiar surroundings of their own homes."
For over 30 years, we've been supporting people with care, nurse-supported care and companionship across England and Wales. As industry-leaders in home care, we know what it takes to provide the right level of care so that you can retain your independence in the comfort of your beloved home.

When you need support at home, our compassionate carers could be just what you’ve been looking for. Visiting care from Helping Hands starts from just 30 minutes a week, so you can be sure we can support you, regardless of your condition. We will work entirely around you, so you can feel safe and supported at home and we’ll provide a personalised care plan that is suitable for your routines. Our carers will be able to support you with housework, laundry, personal care, meal preparation, mobility support, medication administration and much more.
Live-in care is exactly as it sounds; a carer lives in your home with you! The benefits of this include around the clock support as well as constant companionship, meaning reassurance not just for you but also for your loved ones too. You’ll still receive the same high standards of care that our visiting service provides but you’ll know that you never have to be alone in your home through the day or night. Your care will be carried out according to your personalised support plan which will detail exactly how you like things done, so you can be assured your carer will be focussed on supporting you to live your best life possible.
We’ve never been a care agency at Helping Hands, we were established as a company in 1989 and we’ve always had the same ethos for providing the highest standards of care in our customers’ own homes. Everyone who works for us has the same belief in the benefits of individualised, person-centred care and we work tirelessly to pass those benefits on to our customers. You don’t want to be worrying about having to employ your own carer or organising their employment paperwork, let us take care of that for you so you can just focus on being cared for and living your best life at home.
When the time comes to think about dementia care at home you need to be sure that you or your loved one are cared for by a company with over 30 years dementia care experience. We’ve been supporting people living with dementia to remain in the home they love for more than 30 years, helping to reduce confusion and anxiety by remaining in familiar surroundings, close to loved ones and precious memories. We will be happy to discuss your dementia care needs with you in more detail so call us today to find out more.
Respite care traditionally conjures up images of having to go into residential care but that’s never been the case with Helping Hands; our carers come to you and provide all the care you need in the home you love. Respite care is suitable when your regular carer just needs to take a break, so if you need support until they return, we can help, or alternatively, when the unforeseen happens, such as your carer becoming ill, we can provide the short-term care, and quickly; usually within 24 hours.
As we get older, we can all become a little frailer, finding that tasks take longer than they used to. However, there’s no need to struggle at home, as your helpful carer will tackle all those tasks that you are finding a little tricky. This might be vacuuming, preparing meals or taking a shower safely, but regardless of how we can help, you’ll be really glad you called us about elderly care.
Our carers really are the heart of our business as they are the ones who go above and beyond to provide our customers with first-class care. We look after our carers because we know how valuable they are, so we rigorously train them when they first join us and make sure there are opportunities for them to develop their skills throughout their employment.
We are proud to collaborate with some of the foremost charities and organisations in the UK, many of whom are working tirelessly to improve the lives of people living with various conditions, and you can see our list of accreditations here. We are also fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales so you can be sure that we really are one of the UK’s foremost home care specialists.
