At Helping Hands, we’ve been supporting people to enjoy independent, normal lifestyles in the comfort of their own homes since 1989 through our dedicated, compassionate home care. With care plans ranging from 30-minute weekly visits to round-the-clock live-in care, our Morecambe care team are on hand to design a package of care that perfectly suits your care requirements and wishes.
We’re also able to support you in surrounding areas including Heaton, Halton, Heysham, Aldcliffe, Bolton-le-Sands, Middleton, Overton, Slyne and more.
Situated at the southern end of stunning Morecambe Bay, Morecambe is home to several local landmarks, including a statue that commemorates perhaps its most famous son – the late comedian Eric Morecambe.
It’s also home to our Helping Hands Morecambe home care team, who are sure to put a smile on your face with their positive approach and absolute commitment to providing compassionate, dedicated home care.

Fully flexible care packages as your needs change
Flexible care provided in your own home with a fully qualified carer. Visits start from as little as 30 minutes up to several hourly or overnight calls throughout the week.
One-to-one support from a fully qualified care that lives with you. Full-time support so you can stay at home where you feel most comfortable.
When you choose live-in care from Helping Hands, we’ll provide you with an empathetic, expertly trained private carer to live in your home with you and help you enjoy the best possible quality of life. Your live-in carer will be able to assist you around the house with all the tasks and chores that are becoming a bit too stressful or physically demanding – from doing your laundry and running errands to helping you with mobility and bathing. The primary aim of our live-in care is to ensure you’re able to remain independent and comfortable in the familiar surroundings of your own home.
When it comes to arranging home care, it’s not always easy to plan ahead – particularly when unforeseen circumstances arise that change your care requirements at short notice. Perhaps you’ve been discharged early from hospital and find yourself without support for a few days, or your regular carer has been taken ill and hasn’t been able to arrange cover. With emergency care from Helping Hands, we’re able to have one of our empathetic carers in your home within 24 hours of your call, ensuring you won’t be left unsupported and can instead focus on your normal routines without worrying about the housework.
With private care from a care partner like Helping Hands, you’ll get a package of care that is completely tailored to your specific requirements and wishes, ensuring you’re at the heart of every aspect of your care plan. If you have a medical condition that is likely to change or progress, we can adapt your care accordingly to make it more suitable. You’ll also have control over smaller details that may still be important to you, such as bed times and meal preferences, and you’ll be able to see loved ones more regularly and at the times that best suit you.
When you have a live-in carer, you won’t just receive additional support throughout the day – you’ll also benefit from overnight care. Overnight care gives you and your loved ones the added reassurance of knowing that you’ll be looked after 24/7, so if you have a fall or a medical emergency there’ll be an expert carer on hand to look after you.
We’re extremely proud of our carers – they truly are the heart and soul of our company. Every single carer has been handpicked for their kindness and their dedication to providing exception, person-centred care. All staff are enrolled in our award-winning training programme when they join Helping Hands, and participate in regular refresher courses to ensure they’re always up to date with the latest industry standards and best practices. Furthermore, we’re fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales, giving you complete peace of mind about our commitment to the very highest care standards.
Our Morecambe branch is fully regulated and accredited by the CQC and CIW.
