Helping Hands saved the day… We cannot express how important it was for Danny to be able to stay at home with his regular carers and be well looked after at short notice.

Live-in care in Nottingham

Should you need more regular or ongoing support, we have fully trained carers who can support with live-in care in Nottingham and throughout the rest of the country.

Carefully handpicked according to your preferences, interests and personality, a live-in carer will be there to provide ongoing companionship and full-time support, being on-hand day or night.

Dementia care in Nottingham

The leading provider for dementia care at home, we have almost three decades of experience in caring for people with dementia. Our carers are supporting people every day to manage the various challenges the condition poses and the impact it has on everyday life.

We believe that continuity of care is especially important when it comes to dementia. With the help of our experts, and with many carers embarking on additional dementia training, we can help your loved one to stay at home rather than turning to the new and often daunting environment of a residential care home.

Flexible home care options

Support needs regularly change, so it’s important for home care to be flexible enough so it can easily grow or decrease depending on the support that’s required.

This is certainly the case for our customer Bethan, a lady in her 70s who lives in Nottinghamshire. Bethan’s carer visits regularly each week to help with the shopping and housekeeping. But if Bethan is having chest pains, her carer will visit more regularly to provide ventilator support and administer medication.

Call us to discuss the flexible options that are available and arrange a free home care assessment with Nottingham Branch Manager Kelly.

Friendly, qualified carers in Nottingham

We recruit, train and directly employ each of our carers and personal assistants, ensuring that you and your family have the highest standard of support.

Each carer receives intensive training, as part of the Care Certificate (recognised by the Care Quality Commission), and go through a strict series of background checks before they start work.

In fact, our standards for carers are so high that just 1% of those who apply actually join our team.

No two days are ever the same and I get to meet new customers. They are all lovely, as well as the carers and management. Working for Helping Hands is the best decision I have ever made!
